It's small and just by the wayside, but it has locally farm-grown fruit, vegetables, specialty and locally brewed ciders, cooking sauces, smoked meats, desserts, and snacks. I pick up some of the Scuppunong Ciders, Old-Fashioned Apple Cider, and some fresh tomatoes and skins. It looks so much like some of the local markets I would visit as a child with my parents and Grandmother, so I was in the midst of all kinds of nostalgia here. The owner is so sweet and welcoming, and she was very accommodating. This place is the epitome of Southern and Georgia-grown delicacies, and I'm so pleased that I'll have the chance to visit often. There's nothing likely buying locally and supporting local establishments. I'll certainly be back.

I walked inside and honestly I was so surprised I had to do a review. I was greeted and started shopping. I got a small white basket of peaches. $12 a dozen peach cider donuts $18 peach ice cream pint and a peach fritter $8 and I would say ice cream anywhere between 10-12 because my total was $52. The donuts are delicious and not super strong flavored. The peach ice cream had real peach pieces and was just natural. The peaches were fresh and yummy and the fritter is just homey. She even asked if I wanted to have it heated up. Tips are also accepted the young lady told me it's for college for her and the man in the photo and they are open only on the week and if you look the farm is an hour away . Once I finished my checkup and headed back downstairs, I was so excited to see two tables full of some beautifulllll produce. I had things to do and people to see... but that produce was calling my name. So I answered! I was a bit confused at first as to the process, but one of the team members took the time to explain the process quickly and it all made sense. They offer a long sheet of paper that allows you to choose produce in single-serving sizes, prepared packages and more. The offerings seem to vary based on the day, but the offering for the day included over two dozen options! I was tempted to go overboard but ended up going with: a single-serving size of bell peppers (which = 2 huge peppers), a single-serving size of mini cucumbers (5 in a bag) and a 5-variety fruit bag where I chose: peaches, cherries, kiwis, pink lady apples and barlett pears. In total I spent $32 with tax and WOW - did I get my moneys worth. The produce was plentiful, delicious and high-quality. I was so excited to get home to eat them and find different ways to use them. This is truly a wonderful pop-up to support and now that I know where and when to find them, you can bet that I'll be relying on them for my produce needs!

And the kids actually have smiles on their sweet faces! If the opportunity presents itself to either visit Decimal Place Farm on an organized tour and/or to eat their various cheeses such as chevre and feta, go for it. It's amazing to think about how this goat farm is just outside the perimeter and in close proximity to the airport, as evidenced by the numerous jets zooming by overhead. Farmer Mary is passionate about her gang of genial goats and the delightful cheeses that they produce at this family-owned establishment. Plus she's a super nice lady in general and happy to talk about farming, cheesemaking, and nature. You can't just drive up to the farm and buy cheese, but they're sold at markets such as the Freedom Farmers Market and are a favorite of many chefs at popular Atlanta restaurants. Farm to table indeed!
