As the previous reviewer said, it could do with updating. You get to the restaurant by walking through a rather gloomy and seedy-looking bar. The meals are overpriced for what you get and there are few vegetarian choices. I wish they sold good coffee as well. Despite being almost empty when we've been there, the service was slow.

Staff are really pleasant and the bed was comfy. The hotel backs onto a lovely little lake park with a 1-mike fitness track, including some outdoor gym equipment and just beautiful park spaces. I've attached a photo from the park. As with all hotels, the ultimate determinant is probably location. But when I need to be in this part of Swansea, this is the hotel I want to stay at.

The hotel rooms are comfortable and spacious but position is close to Fabian Way so there can be some road noise. The restaurant is of a reasonable standard, not top quality food but standard chain hotel fare, the best option is the Sunday carvery and buffet with a large selection of starters and desserts plus well prepared vegetables and generous portions of meat. Functions are well organised and the Christmas one I attended last month was very well done though meal itself tasted over seasoned(made everyone drink more!). The best part of the hotel is the leisure complex, it has a great swimming pool, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi plus well sized and equipped gym as well as exercise classes for members. The whole hotel is always kept very clean.
