They told me to raise it with my bank - not sure what my bank has to do with non-delivery! It's their responsibility to make sure they deliver the ordered and paid for items. John Reed is not able to do that - buyer beware! Absolutely disgraceful company would never recommend them - quite the opposite. Had to grade them 1 because it wouldn't let me give a minus score.

I rang them and they said to return it and they would refund me if they thought it was faulty. I returned it then received an email saying I had sent them a fake charm back therefore they could not accept it or refund me. This was the charm they sent me and were then telling me it was fake!!! I rang them and they accused me of keeping the real charm and sending them a fake one back!!! I advise everyone to check the charms they receive from John Greed.

As it is small the choice is very limited however they do have a lot of great stuff so you can usually find something just as good. The prices are slightly higher in comparison to other places, but the quality and service justifies this I think. I have only ever had a problem once with something I bought from there - it was my engagement ring, in which the stone fell out instantly, but they were quick to repair - free of charge and really apologetic. There is a lot (clothing and accessories) in a small space, but it is all well displayed and isn't too cluttered or overwhelming (which I often find in London). I loved the accessories and several of the dresses (alas though, my favourite was too small...). Tip: the shop only displays some of their stock, check their website for more wonderful things.

Clintons is a large card shop based in the town centre. It stocks cards for every occassion…read morepossible as well as a choice of gifts and other accessories such as gift wrap, invitations, confetti etc. The cards are all good quality howver the prices reflect this and it is very expensive with most cards over £2 in price. For some reason they do not seem to have a cheaper section either. It is good though if you want a unique card as they cater for everyone. the main criticism is the staff are so unfriendly and unwilling to help, which realy bugs me.
