The cafe is part of the Pilliga pottery complex but deserves its own entry. As it is not far from Coonabarabran it is an easy trip to come up for breakfast, lunch or even an early dinner. If you are staying at the farmstead dinner can be had as late as 8pm. You can't go past the pizzas. After a long drive (via the wineries at Mudgee) we thoroughly enjoyed washing them down with our wine purchases. We also had breakfast both mornings here and were not disappointed. The gelato was pretty good too. ....and very importantly...the coffee was excellent. Food is served on the pottery plates and you are surrounded by pottery pieces. read more

This is such a magical spot out in the bush. We booked in for dinner and the courtyard looked beautiful under the lights. It's very welcoming to families (during the day, kids can play with clay). The food was very nice indeed, all served on their own pottery. read more
