This company ripped my near 80 year old mother in law off of the down payment she gave for a wastewater pipe installation. They never came to do the work after over a year and when we tried to get the job done with another company they would not return the down payment. When my mother in law went to collect the money at their office the owner was very loud and obnoxious with her to the point of bringing her to tears. Not only a thief but a poor quality human being. read more

Quick response, friendly and successfully resolved our issue. Everything you could ask for in customer service. Will use them again.

The best service was provided by Dave and staff. Not only is the job done right, it's the personal individual care and thoughtfulness for the clients needs that I will always use Bluewater. I highly recommend them and thank them again for answering all my questions timely and honestly. Dianne Cudjoe Key read more

You do not want to hire this plumber. I was born on this island, I have lived here all my life, and work for a local fire department here where we pride ourselves on moral and ethical conduct and treat everyone in this community with the same standard of care and quality of service when doing so. Do to growing up here and being a 6th generation local and knowing many individuals on this island, many of whom I hold high in regard, I have first hand knowledge of and have witnessed not only the very poor quality of service this man provides but that he completely conducts business in an immoral and unethical manner. It has been brought to my attention that he has resorted to spite, blackmail, and even vengeance if one were to disagree with his incompetent work ethic and the way he has conducted a job in a manner in which you feel is unacceptable to your taste or liking. I urge you to not only think twice before hiring this company for I care for all out there who is just trying to get a plumbing issue resolved or service to an issue handled and completed. There are many great companies out there but in my experience this company is absolutely not one of them. read more

If I could give them zero stars I would. This is me writing my first review EVER and I was inspired to do so because they took advantage of my patience and their customer service was so bad. I made a service request through American Home Shield in May of 2021, which I had to pay for a service request fee, and they connected me with Blue Water Plumbing. 2 months after making the request and making phone calls to schedule an appointment, David (the owner) finally came to my home, took a look at the obviously old and non functioning water heater and said he will put in an order and wait for approval through AHS. Again, weeks and months went by. I waited, called, and kept getting the run around. I'd call weekly or every other week because I hate to be a bother and someone would always say they'd call back once they get more information but never do. So I contacted American Home Shield directly, and they told me that since 30 days has passed with no updates on the request (meaning that David never even bothered with putting a request for approval), that there was nothing they can do and I couldn't even be reimbursed. So I paid a service request fee for nothing and that is the consequence of being extremely patient with these people. I guess I should have called every waking day to get their butts out here but I didn't because I am a reasonable person. AHS even called the company and the administrator Stephanie lied and said that there's no record of anyone coming to my home. If David didn't want to bother with my request then he should have just said so from the beginning because I would have gladly changed vendors which could have saved me money and time, which he has wasted both. read more

Since we only have the one bathroom Blue Water sent someone the same day and took care of our problem. Had called several other companies and couldn't get any of them for several days. read more

I broke the main water line coming into the house almost flush with the slab at 3pm on a Friday. I called Blue Water and the owner Dave was at our house within 10 minutes...he was on a job a block away but stopped by to assess the situation. He was back within a hour and had it fixed quickly. I am very appreciative (as is my family!) and would definitely recommend Blue Water. Pricing was fair and the service outstanding. read more

We had an emergency of overflowing toilet and stoppage. Bluewater came right away and checked the problem and fixed it. Very helpful as far as explaining everything he did and other things to watch. Overall experience was painless. Price was better than we anticipated. Any future plumbing problems, Bluewater will be our go to. Thanks for your help Dave. We highly recommend Bluewater for your plumbing needs. read more

I called Blue Water for emergency service owner and his crew came out right away and fixed the problem. His prices were comparable to other plumbing companies I have used in the past. The fact the owner came out on such short notice is an added bonus in my book. read more

Took them longer to get our home done that it should have and communication was not good, but it's done now and looks great. If you decide to use them, just make sure you have a wide breadth of time that the work can get done. As far as the actual work, flawless every time. read more

David was just wonderful and so professional. He came to our rescue in our hour of need when we were housesitting in Summerland Key. When I called on the weekend he answered immediately and I was able to text photos to his cell phone so he could assess the situation right away. Excellent service! read more

Today I had blue water for a home warranty repair and had some extra work done as well. Although, I have not received my bill yet, I can honestly say the professionalism, work ethic and integrity I witnessed today on top of of an awesome job in under two hours left me blown away. As locals we recognize how transient businesses are. I am so pleased there are still local businesses that strive to maintain excellence all around. The work done today was so spot on I know I have a plumber in the keys worth the service call and money. Thank You David! read more

Crooks! Gave them a deposit of $1700.00 to hook up to sewers in March of 2017. As of April of this year the job had not been started. I understand they were hit by a hurricane but they had the deposit for over 6 months before the hurricane hit. We are selling the property because we weren't able to replace mobile home and the new buyers don't want to use Blue Water. They are not refunding any of the deposit they have had for over a year. I can understand if they kept the money it cost for permits and even a cancellation fee. DEFINITELY think twice before you do business with this company! read more

i would not recommend Blue Water Plumbing. They did a good job, but the bill that came was very high. I wish I would have called Middle Keys Plumbing. They do a great job, and charge about half the price. read more

Came out on short notice, prices were on the slightly higher side. However after fixing the problems I was left with a mess on the floor and there was a new problem that I had to fix myself. read more

Being a general contractor, price is an element, but a priority for us is that the job gets done correctly the first time, and that the bid is accurate. I have heard too many times that the bid did not anticipate circumstances, and that is an element with any construction project, but I will say that whenever Dave has sent over any changes, they are legitimate, and truly unforseeable, while whenever we use other plumbers, the change orders are items that should have been seen in the initial walk thru. I have used Blue Water many times, and always found them to be fair, intelligent, and ethical-all things that count for more than "cheap". read more

I would definitely not recommend Bluewater Plumbing Solutions. I had a negative experience with them. They are over priced. They came out 2 x to fix a simple clog in the line and charged both times. They do not stand by their work. I called a plumber when it clogged again the NEXT day and they resolved the issue immediately. read more

David has done a number of jobs for me on my house in Ramrod Key; everything from major remodels to minor repairs. He knows his stuff and is always professional. As the others have said he is often available on short notice and weekends. I find his prices to be very reasonable and considering the quality of his work I call that a bargain. I will continue to use aid for all my plumbing needs. read more

Had a clogged utility tub, no emergency. Plumber was there less than 45 min. They charged over $300 and said he was there an hour and a half but they charged me for two full hours because they don't do increments. Was going to have them install a kitchen faucet but that would run over $500 at their rate!! Methinks NOT! read more

Great fast accurate service!!!! We had an emergency and they were here within the hour. Thanks guys.

David was available on short notice and fixed my issue. As mentioned before prices are high but you are paying for service and equipment that the average home owner doesn't own. read more
