She knew who I was though because she asked for my gift card without prompt. I would be confident saying Mike was NOT a licensed massage therapist. He only removed a section of the sheet to massage for less than ten minutes of the entire massage. Mostly just pushing on my back over the sheet. Thumbs like my high school boyfriend trying to give a massage, my back and neck still hurt from it. He also got on top on me. Straddled me with only a sheet between us. Extremely unsatisfying and uncomfortable. Will not be going back or recommending.

I told her I gave her a cash tip there is no need to add more on my card. She kept saying it was mandatory to tip more than $25 and that it is listed on the website. (Which I can't find) I was immediately shocked and repulsed by her demanding I tip her more money than I already did. Utah Division of Consumer Protection needs to look into this place immediately regarding their tipping practices. --------- HI ANDREW (manager) 1) your responses on your own company's page to client that support your business is horrendous. A true proud business owner would take a moment to apologize for the experience and take the honest feedback from your clients. 2) a liar ? I even tried handing my card over to the therapist upon leaving and she was confused and immediately asked me what I wanted to tip. I had to confirm on my own that the payment was processed by checking my banking app and she kept begging for a better tip. 4) DEFINITION OF TIP : A tip, or gratuity, is a voluntary, additional payment of money given to a service worker (such as a server, driver, or barber) by a customer, in recognition of service performed........hence I only tipped what I felt like the service was worth considering what was performed and the many interruptions during my service. 5) I did not request a therapist. I made a reservation online and there is no request for a certain therapist on there. It says : Swedish massage - with j massage SLC. It's just a coincidence that your highly requested therapist was the one to do my massage. 6)correct I did not hand her a $25 tip--- I stated above " she kept saying it was mandatory to tip more than $25 " 7) Please review your footage in your lobby because we all know it's being recorded as you have iPads set up in every massage room showing the front counter. She said " MANDATORY ". 8) just a suggestion : hire a front desk person so your staff is not constantly running out the room during a TIMED service.... if your staff is demanding a certain amount for a tip you can actually add automatic gratuity so your staff and clients aren't running into this issue. The pressure was spot on, not too light and not overkill, just right. Hot stones were heated perfectly, not too hot and not lukewarm like some places do. Since seeing Dylan weekly for a couple of months now I'm only in a wheelchair 10% of the time!!! I still walk with a cane, but I'm living a MUCH fuller life with MUCH less pain!...I will say my treatments with him are pretty brutal and painful as he skillfully untangles my body and nerves, BUT totally worth it. She also mentioned that she would show me some pressure points that could help with lymphatic drainage, but that never happened. That may have contributed to my confusion about whether the full massage time had been completed. However, when I looked at the time, it was clear that the appointment ended before 2:00 PM. When I asked her to massage my legs, I also felt that there wasn't much pressure or technique involved--it felt more like lotion was simply being rubbed onto my legs and feet. We talked about my preferences before he got started and he did an amazing job with the exact right amount of pressure and time focusing on problem areas. And the scalp add on was definitely something I'd get again - as you'd imagine, it's a more focused massage and included some lovely aromatherapy. The space is small with sleek minimalist spa vibes. And while they don't have any room for saunas or baths or anything like that they do have a nice boutique area with spa products and other items like locally-made jewelry. I got some really cute earrings and some fantastic soaps and lotions which I've been loving! Booking online via their website was very easy. Prices are what you'd expect for the level of service and the quality is totally justified. Like most spas, they have a cancellation policy of 24 hour or more notice to cancel - if less than 24 hours they charge 50% of your scheduled service but that's pretty standard for most places. They're located in a small shopping center with a few parking spots out front and plenty of free street parking in the surrounding area. There are some stairs required to get up into the spa area and I didn't see any elevator options so there may be handicap access issues.
