What he didn't know was my car was still under warranty, I took it to another mechanic who showed me the actual parts on my car listed on the quote were in perfect working condition and in no need of repair and they were just trying to get money out of me. Sadly it was the manager that lied about all the faults, which I think most people would have just accepted and gone ahead with the unneeded repairs. Maybe their new installs are ok, because you can see the actual work that has been done, and they do have some good reviews. But I would very careful about getting my car serviced or repaired there. I won't be back.

After the service, I noticed a grinding sounds coming from my brakes. I contacted ACE and they sent a different technician out to "fix" the issue. Nothing changed, however the mechanic told me it can take a "few days" for the brakes to wear in - mind you, I know nothing about cars so took his word for it. 10 days later, the grinding sound remained so I called again. This time, they sent the original mechanic to my work to "fix" the issue. He spent approximately 30 mins with my car and advised me that he put a little grease on the brakes and he test drove it and the issue was fixed...it was for a whole day. I called again to report that the problem is still there and the receptionist was so rude, she said it is an intermittent issue when clearly the issue started after my brakes were changed as the issue was not there before. She offered for a mechanic to attend a 4th time but I declined as I have completely lost faith in this organisation and capability of its employee. Stay far away from this place, especially if you're a woman!
