Unlike at some other local mechanics, I never felt uncomfortable as a female going there on my own. The car I had when I was a customer there was a confusing one prone to odd random faults but they were patient with trying to work out its problems. They were happy to explain in detail what needed to happen and didn't try to up-sell me on unnecessary extras. Each of the times I took my car there the bill seemed very reasonable.
