We had purchased a home but were still commuting, and we got a ticket from our HOA because we hadn't edged our lawn and had seven days to cure the infraction. The flowers which surrounded the house were a mess, and a magnolia tree in the backyard hadn't been trimmed for years. We looked through the Green World Landscaping website and were encouraged by the photos and started an email conversation with Joel. He and his team took care of the entire project, and went above and beyond, mucking out weeds, realigning the flower bed boarders, trimming the tree back to get a fresh new start, and did a beautiful job. When we decided to surround the house with pavers, we of course called Joel because all the hardscaping work we had seen him do was thoughtful and lovely, and he came over and his vision was immediately clear. He suggested a color to complement our home (and conform to community standards), and a pattern and brand which is beautifully designed and has a solid reputation. He and his team were timely, careful with our home, thorough, and they cleaned up every inch of the property before leaving. The artistry of the pavers is stunning. The mosaic at the front door was cut in real time as the pavers were being laid, and set so thoughtfully at the front door, it's a treasure. They also buried our downspout drains and solved a lot of ponding issues that have been going on for years. Again, above and beyond in the designing of the project. It feels like Joel takes as good care of our home as he would his own. We can't recommend Joel and Green World Landscaping more highly. Joel is a good man, and his team is tops.

We had almost given up when we saw a posting from Don and East Coast Landscaping. He came out, took measurements and gave us an estimate and then came back and sat down with us to go through everything with photos and mapping things out. It was definitely not an easy (or short) job, but everything was done as promised and we are very happy with the results. He and his crew were friendly, courteous and always cleaned up when done. There is no scope of work to large for this team. My first engagement of Rich was to overhaul our landscaping in Bethany Beach. Rich spent a significant amount of time to ensure the design and expectation was going to meet my expectations. His team started as expected and completed on time and on budget! Now.... he could be like other beach firms chasing the large projects. Not at all and learn more about why this organization exceeds 5 stars..... 1) Warranty: we always hear about warranties. Most companies find ways to "void" it. No this team. Rich and team honored the warranty on the installation in all aspects including a tree that didn't survive. He honored the warranty and planted a replacement tree. Clearly if two trees dont survive the likelihood that the issue was the tree is unlikely. Rich recommended another organization (Arbor Care) to get engaged. Ultimately it appears the reason was my soil and not something Rich or his team could control and required Arbor Care's engagement. This year they installed the third tree still considered "warranty" and never even had to debate or challenge the situation. This experience is unheard of in the industry! 2) Flexibility: Coastal Edge installed a new paver walk at my residence. I had to replace my HVAC system and I wanted the same paver product to be installed as a pad for the HVAC compressor. Rich's team coordinated with the HVAC company to ensure the sequencing allowed the removal of the existing compressors, installation of the pad and replacement of the new compressors with a seamless/frictionless process. Another time Coastal Edge's annual start of of my irrigation system and spring cleanup of landscaping was orchestrated by them around my exterior painter! Again - seamless and frictionless to me. 3) Innovation: Coastal Edge offers irrigation services. They were challenged to figure out how to run irrigation not only to my back deck pots but also hanging pots on front porch. This team did that flawlessly as my neighbors were confused how the flowers are so healthy and last the entire summer into fall. The answer is consistent watering is why they look so beautiful! 4) Satisfaction: Coastal Edge's service experience tone starts with the owner Rich and cascades throughout all employees. There is no job to large or small. His team has stopped out when I needed even an irrigation cap (less then $1) part to be replaced and it was done as a courtesy! I've called in favors for Rich to help a friend out who needed a landscape refresh before an engagement party at his house - no problem and his house looked beautiful just in time for the celebration! 5) Consistent demonstration of excellence and leadership: The first engagement with Rich was in the summer of 2022. We have all had providers that start strong to get the big job but become mediocre over time. This is clearly not the case w/Rich and his team demonstrating sustainability for 3 years now. This organization has become my single provider for irrigation, landscape and hardscape needs. He is the ONLY service I recommend!
