She cared for my mother with compassion and kindness. She treated her with respect and love. She helped my mom eat her food and drink her drinks. Accompanied my mother to the restroom. Assisted her in her walking and transported her to and from the event. I couldn't have asked for more from this service. I had no worries that my mother was cared for while I hosted this dinner. If I could give a 10 I would. My parents moved in 3 months ago to the assisted living wing. Mom…read morefully independent and dad suffering from advanced Alzheimer's. The place is beautiful, lots of flowers and greens, plenty of parking, lots of activities and I could go on and on about all the amenities; however, the most important asset this facility has is their staff. From the front office, administration, care givers, cleaning crew, kitchen and activities crew THE MOST CARING AND COMPASSIONATE, I have yet to find someone that is not that way. My father passed just a few days ago and all the out pouring of attention that Mom and the family has received from Meridian staff has been incredible. My has decided not to move out with any of us, we wanted to take her with us, we are all good children to her I promise ; but she decided that she feels so comfortable there that wants to stay. Better compliment than that of a resident having the choice to stay or leave and yet wants to stay can't be found. Thank you Meridian staff from my siblings and I we are eternally grateful to you for the compassion you shown to my dad and the love and attention you continue to give to my mom.

The first person they sent the first time my son ever had care was a self medicating diabetic who came to the job with low sugar and passed out. Paramedics had to be called. When I called them to say what happened they said they didn't even have emergency contacts for her on file. It took over a year for them to find another person who could come one day a week after school. I specified any day. But they never had anyone. When they did, she was great. After 2 months she said she couldn't come anymore. Another year goes by and they finally find someone. At this pointu sin was too thin due to ARFID issues. I explained to her we needed to get weight on him. I was taking a college class and when I would get home he'd be asleep and exhausted. Next day he said his legs and arms hurt. The next week I set up a nanny cam since I wouldn't be home. She was having my son do planks and other calisthenics!!!! She did t even ask if this was okay. I had her removed fromu son's care. Another year goes by and I finally find a friend of the family. So she jumos through their hoops for bothering process. Took her a month of CPR class. Orientation, etc none of which was paid. Then she starts watching son, I sign the timecards and 2 months later she has NEVER been paid!?? We have been back and forth and they keep giving excuses as to why they haven't paid her, trying to blame her and the regional center saying things I was able to prove as untrue. This is probably what happened to the other great lady that suddenly couldn't come. We kept calling and every week for 6 weeks we were told she'd be paid and then wasn't. So now she won't want my son because she hasn't been paid. This company is a joke! I don't even want to give 1 star. Shame on them for not paying their care providers.

Came over and she wanted me to join her to participate in the yoga class. It was so cute to see the room full of folks ready to start yoga. I discovered their beauty salon room and a computer lab at the lobby to play games. Finally found the laundry room in the 3rd floor but for some reason as soon as you get out of the elevator. It smell like dirty diapers! No Bueno! Somebody needs to fix that! It is okay to be poor but when you are stinky or dirty that needs to be corrected. The other floors did not have a foul odor in fact they smelled pretty good. I felt the door to the laundry room was really a heavy door. Other wise all washers and dryers worked well. My spirit mom actual studio had a lot to offer but no real kitchen. No stove! she has a frig and a sink but that is about it. Her bathroom shower had a phone in case she needs help. She was telling me that her senior living rent is really pricey but the staff seemed enthusiastic and attentive to her needs. So that made me feel better for her. She is not to hip on the menu as the food is not organic but my girlfriend is very particular with her well being especially her food. Easy parking and lots of room to roll around in the halls in the event you need (a) wheel(s) (chair) to get around. I also found that in the elevator they post daily activities schedule for the residents to have interaction and fun social events.
