I walked into the Roseville location because I wanted to look at a couple of pieces of jewelry and see if they would work for me. Despite it being long weekend, the store was empty and all three associates were chatting. I asked if they can show me the pieces and half heartedly one stood up. She was not only arrogant but would also not answer any questions I had about the jewelry. I was a serious buyer had she done her job. I am not sure what is Blue Nile is paying them for. Disappointed. read more

Service: MICHAEL ANDREWS was our personal jeweler and provided us with such careful and thoughtful service. Very knowledgeable and also helpful for suggesting custom jewelers who could help me to create my ring when Blue Nile was not able to adapt my design enough. Selection: I cannot fault blue Nile for their selection of diamonds, but I did have to outsource for my custom ring because they are limited in what they can do and manipulate as far as settings. Value: fantastic value and conscientious sourcing read more

I've been buying jewelry online from Blue Nile for over a decade. I was looking at the store list at the Roseville mall and saw Blue Nile listed - perfect timing! I had a pair of pink sapphire and pearl earrings, and the clasp was a little loose. I was happy to see that stores offer services like jewelry cleaning and repair and made an appointment for the same day. Walter provided amazing service - he explained how my gold earrings worked (clasp needs to be "lifted" a little to be secure since it becomes looser over time) and fixed them right away. I also had a graduated diamond ring (which they don't sell anymore) and he cleaned it for me. Service was extremely professional and didn't cost a penny! I would happily return for jewelry repair and cleaning and to browse their selection of jewelry. read more

My husband gifted me a diamond ring to celebrate our wedding anniversary. I knew I wanted an oval cut and had a clear idea of what I was looking for in terms of color, cut, and clarity-but beyond that, I didn't dive much deeper into the specifics. We chose Blue Nile because of their extensive collection and the convenience of having a showroom nearby. We didn't schedule an appointment but as soon as we walked in, we were warmly greeted by Gulalay "Gul". She was incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and easy to work with. I shared my vision with her, and she took care of the rest. Later, in my excitement, I began researching more about oval diamonds. That's when I learned about the importance of proportions--things like the ideal length-to-width ratio, depth percentage, table percentage, and girdle thickness. I also came across tips about avoiding diamonds with a dark "bow tie" effect. I started to worry that I hadn't considered all of this when choosing my ring. But to my relief--and amazement--it turns out that Gul had already done all that work for me. Without me even realizing, she had hand-selected a diamond that checked every box. In fact, when I went back to the Blue Nile website to compare diamonds with similar specs (color, cut, carat, and clarity), none matched mine as perfectly when factoring in all those subtle but important details. It became clear to me that Gul is truly an expert in her field. Her ability to find the perfect diamond-even when I didn't know what to ask for-speaks volumes about her skill and dedication. I wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone shopping for jewelry at Blue Nile. She made our anniversary gift even more special, and I couldn't be happier. Thanks so much Gul! read more

I purchased a diamond set over 10 years ago via online. I saw a commercial on a major network and did some research. I was contemplating getting a Tiffany set, I decided to go with Blue Nile online. While at the mall today I noticed a Blue Nile store and asked about upgrading to a larger diamond, it was a couple hundred dollars more. Came back with my wife and the sale-person was at lunch. Robert informed me that to trade in I would have to purchase double the price of what my original diamond cost. I just stated that I was not informed about an hour earlier. Robert got a bit condescending about his diamond knowledge and all that sale-pitch jargon and that he had 30 years experience in the diamond business. Then I informed Robert that I did my homework before I ordered diamond online, only a fool would do so otherwise. I took a chance with Blue Nile and I was satisfied with that purchase at that time. However with this experience I don't think I will be doing business with them again. I have attached pictures of the diamond I was looking at to upgrade. By the way they did clean my wife's ring and it sparkled. read more

Update: I still have not received my refund - see 1 star review about the Sky Blue Topaz Rope Bracelet posted a week and a half ago. This process has taken almost 5 months now and they have stolen hundreds of dollars from me. Blue Nile is a thieving, dishonest, subpar company and you should not waste your time or money here. They stole my jewelry and my money and have caused me hours and hours of stress and anxiety due to poor customer service. Please read my recent one-star review for more information. read more

I had a great experience at Blue Nile! They helped with resizing, educating and cleaning. Every time I come in, staff is so helpful!

Disappointed about the in store selection. Salesman kept saying he didn't make commission but felt a little gimmicky and cheesy. Felt like he was trying to upsell us on a platinum men's wedding band, while bragging about his personal $100 tungsten band. My engagement ring was purchased online through Blue Nile and that was a great experience. read more

I have encountered two interactions here at the Blue Nile store. Once when I picked up my engagement ring and another time coming in with my fiancé to get her ring resize. Both times I had experienced the best customer service ever from a store. Even though Blue Nile an online jewelry store, the value they provide unbeatable. I was service by Thongsay this most recent visit and Jacob my last. Both were professional and knowledgeable. read more

I shopped online for a specific ring. Blue Nile had great prices. I wanted to make sure of the size, so I went into the store at Galleria of Roseville. The in-store help was great. They checked my size and quickly assisted with the purchase. Most likely because it was Cyber Monday, they beat the online price significantly. It was a great experience. read more

Great Store front for an amazing online Company. Ive been a Customer of Blue Nile for Manny year and now that they have a store, things have just gotten better. Great prices, amazing selection (because they are primarily an online store). The staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. They don't work on commission so you know they are not pushing anything on you. Hats off to Thongsay, she just the best! read more

I've walked by this store multiple times and always looked in. One day I decided to step in and I was immediately greeted by Thongsay. She was great with helping me find what I've been thinking about purchasing as well as showed me a few jewelry pieces. She was very detailed about size and quality and let me try on the pieces. Once I saw the bracelet on me, I knew it was a match and Thongsay even let me know the bracelet was on sale. With such a good price, it was an immediate purchase and super easy. I ended up receiving the shipment at my house and am very happy with my gold chain bracelet. I would definitely recommend checking this place out and hopefully you'll get lucky to work with Thongsay as well :). read more
