I am not sure how the food tastes I decided not to eat here after the experience i had ordering over the phone. I was ordering a calzone and they wanted to charge me a dollar for marinara sauce. Who sells a calzone and doesn't include marinara sauce? The website has a side of marinara sauce with the BYO calzone which is 11.50. In the picture when you order online there is a side of sauce. The classic calzone was $15 and I would have had to pay a dollar extra for marinara on the side. How does this make sense? Due to these issues I won't be going to this place because I feel like they are ripping customers off or maybe they just don't know their own menu. Either way I will go to a different pizza place that gives me marinara with my calzone. read more

Forgot to snap a photo of our salads and pizza, but the food here was decent overall. It's a fairly typical pizza joint with menu options that include a number of premade pizza combinations, along with build your own options, wings, salads, sandwiches etc. Parking was easy and the place was super clean (not greasy as pizza places can be sometimes). Everyone working here was friendly, although a big group next to us seemed to slow things down in the kitchen today. Our white pizza was 7/10 for me. I really enjoyed the thin, crispy crust. The red onions threw me off a little. Salads were competent. Solid place for lunch in this area in my opinion. read more

Upon entering, I immediately realized why I never choose this place. It was a random Tuesday night, and this place was a zoo. I waited at the door a few moments to be seated, and waited almost 30 minutes for a drink. No one came to my table - I repeatedly tried and no one would make eye contact with me. I finally got up and stopped someone, and no one was sure who was supposed to be my server. My friend and I waited for over an hour for our food - we ordered salads. Nothing was comped, the bill had a mistake, a small apology was given. The food was fine once we finally got it, but no food was worth waiting that long in a chaotic environment where you feel like you're being ignored. If you're looking for a place where you'll wait indefinitely for your food and you'll need to shout across the table because there are feral children screaming and running around all over, then this sounds like the place for you. There are SO many better options in this town, in my opinion. I sadly remembered why I never eat here, and I definitely won't be back. read more

I actually can't believe that this place has good reviews on here. What a horrendous experience ‍. The waitress had absolutely no clue about what celiac was or the need for no cross contamination for gluten free (they advertise this). The menu under "100% gluten free" it lists crispy chicken for the buffalo salad so when I asked her about it she didn't know. She went back to the cook who confirmed that it wasn't safe and it should say grilled. The entire menu is wrong and that is really unsafe for celiac customers and even gluten free considering the crispy chicken has gluten. They were also unsure about the dressings for salads listed on the GF menu. I ordered the GF pizza against better judgement and it came with a random piece of chicken on it and no basil (margarita pizza). Then the manager came over with a terrible snarky attitude and said he'd personally remake it and rolled his eyes!!! We left without eating. No way would I trust this place. On top of these issues, the waitress stuck her finger inside my cup to refill. Totally gross. Addition: my husband's food that wasn't GF was also terrible. Never returning. read more

Whenever we are down in Ft. Myers, we visit Blue Moon Pizza. It's a short walk from our place and the food is always good. They have a cute patio with string lights and the restaurant has a lot of seating and a bar. It feels cozy in the evenings and you can watch a game and have a drink. My husband always orders the Meateor and loves it! It's too much meat for me (hello meat sweats!). This is my first time trying the meatball sub and it was really good. The meatballs were large in size and had a good spicy kick. There was a bunch of melted mozzarella toasted on top. The bread itself was crunchy from toasting but still soft enough that it doesn't flake everywhere. If you are in the area, check them out! read more

Had a great Pizza (Classic-asked for it a little crispy), and the fire wings. Both were delicious. Service was also very good. But, the most surprising and unexpected delight was they made the best Vesper Martini I've had in Lee County. Perfect blend of Gin and Vodka with a hint of Lillet, and the perfect lemon twist, all shaken hard so that I had the little ice chips floating like snowflakes on your windshield. Today I was in a mood for a quick snack and was passing i front of " Blue Moon pizza " so I decided to stop and try. It's rare when I leave a review only when the place,food and service make my day. Even for simple chicken wing I had a great expérience. Alisa the bartender was very nice and very attentive. I worked near Blue Moon many years ago. Whenever we have social gathering or pizza party, we would order several "Take-n-Bake" pizzas and bake in our oven to ensure freshness, crisp and hot steaming pies. I don't believe this; it is been more than 3 years since our last visit. We stop by to have a pizza and beer for lunch! I ordered my favorite, "Classic" pizza with pepperoni, sausage, red and green peppers, mushroom, and red onions. You can smell the fragrance as the staff put the pie on the table! Needless to say, "Delicious!" My friend ordered her Margherita pizza with roasted tomato, mozzarella and basil with a light sauce. Both pies were spot on! You can see how pandemic affected their tables arrangement. They are spread farther apart both for inside and outside seating! The ambiance is casual and relax. we went to Blue Moon Pizza for their bruschetta and pizza. Was amazing ! The new owner was working and suggested an appetizer that had mozzarella on top of a spring mix , and tomatoes had balsamic glaze on it. Was excellent! They have great daily drink specials as well. He suggested putting hot honey on our pizza. Turns out that tastes better than it sounds. My husband and I consider our selves as Pizza connoisseurs and always looking for the best pizza. We definitely found one of the best pizza's in Southwest Florida. Owner was extremely attentive as well as the bartender. Had a very good experience all the way around! read more

First and last time here..... got a salad, comes on top of undercooked bread? (Why?) with grocery store salad and cut up chicken tenders and tastes like nothing. My friend got the cheesy bread and the sauce was definitely store bought and it seems that is what most of the cuisine is here. Was underwhelmed and even though I didn't eat my food they still charged me. Avoid this place and go somewhere else. Plenty of better options in the area. read more

History

Established in 2003.

After many years in the corporate restaurant world, we were ready to do our own thing. We looked around and thought, why can't there be a restaurant with simple but top-notch food, take-care-of the-guest service, a fun, down-to-earth atmosphere, at reasonable prices you can afford. And oh yeah, how about a real full-service bar to top it off? Pizza seemed like the perfect signature item, a sharing kind of food everybody loves, to which you can bring unlimited creative touches. So we asked our friends: What's the best thing about pizza? Answer: The dough. The crust. So that was our first focus. We also wanted our pizza to look good, not just taste good. When you're hungry, we think that last little visual touch really does make it taste better.

The lobster roll, bread was not soft or buttery, and the flavor of the lobster filling was not very good either. At $34 you better knock it out of the park, instead of being only passable. Again the price was about $10 over another local establishment known for their lobster rolls, that are far superior. There was zero atmosphere on a Weds night, no live music, with one other table of four and a few bar flies at the bar. I had three different beers and all of them were flat. The wife had a flat cider. I am not sure what the cost per was, since they do not list it on the beer menu, which I hate. $150 for bad drinks and mediocre bar food. Never again.

This is a niche tapas restaurant catering to those individuals that enjoy expertly prepared food without any pretense. The restaurant itself is very unassuming with seats for 10 at the bar overlooking the kitchen and booths as well as some awkward seating as you first enter the restaurant that can accommodate up to 20 more people. What impressed me as much as the quality of the food was the quality of our server, RAIZA, who on a scale of one to 10 was a 15. She not only knew the food but her expertise with the wine pairings was superb and I think my son really appreciated her input and selections after he had laid out some of his criteria. We ordered eight items for the three of us and they were all unique, wonderfully tasteful and beautifully presented. Each selection is paired with a different wine and you have ample time between selections to chat and talk about how good the next selection will be. Hopefully my pictures will present an accurate account of how wonderful everything was. This is not the kind of restaurant that I would personally return to on a regular basis but I would welcome the opportunity to come here once a year just to be reminded of how food/dining can be a joyous occasion. It was clear from our visit that liberty has a devout following. It was interesting that there were no salt and pepper shakers on the table and this was for the obvious reason that the food came to the table properly seasoned with no extras required. I would have to say our eight selections were ample but on the light side. We arrived at our reservation time at 5:45 and departed at 7:45, a very leisure dining experience. To summarize, liberty will continue to thrive as long as they are able to maintain their high standards of food and service, kudos to ownership and staff for providing such a unique experience in Fort Myers. The medium rare chocolate chip cookies were good but the cinnamon toast crunch ice cream was beyond compare and I certainly could've used a man's size portion of that as it was so delicious.

Actually , nice local guy bought us each a beer just for chit-chatting with him. They Have No food on the menu so come here with only your thirst!! The place is open air and it's kind of dusty, dirty and dingy. I'd probably stick with the bottled beer and stay away from drafts as I'm doubting the glasses or the beer lines are cleaned out very often. It's a decent place for an afternoon beer or some good old fashioned day drinking but be warned, there isn't anything here that's fancy. I enjoyed my visit.
