Ah, that used bookstore smell...heavenly. I wish I'd had more time to spend in here but we had tickets to the football game. They had a big selection and I can't wait to return. Tons of parking options. The book selection is diverse- from old copies to new releases and all in between. It's often they do not have something so I like to go in with an open mind. The staff is also always willing to search for ya too. The prices of many books is extremely competitive and they typically have discount racks outside too. I really love their interactive section- they have journals, board games and cute things like workbooks.

There is also a dog inside and he loves to show off his toys and receive pets! I overheard a conversation going on between a customer and the owner/worker where they mentioned that there is a book club where they bring food/snacks to it, which sounded pretty neat. We used to love to attend the annual book sale at the library and we were disappointed when they…read moredecided to end it . My husband and I have been to the newish friends of the library book store a few times and had neutral experiences most times. The selection is not what it used to be and the prices are also a bit out of touch.... Today was disappointing for other reasons... volunteers Amy Pat and one more woman were loudly gossiping about everyone and anything they could as well as making extremely ignorant statements about widely divisive topics . We happen to belong to a few of the groups of people that they were gleefully passing judgement on. I'm glad they are enjoying their freedom of speech but I'm disappointed in the lack of manners. It created an awkward environment where we felt very uncomfortable and we don't feel welcome to return.
