The storefront is nothing to write home about - it looks like they took an old convenience store and turned it into a beer store. There are no spirits or wine to be purchased but what they do have is a grand selection of craft beers, the majority of which is available for mix and match 6 packs. Most of the bottles are $2 and a bottle is on the higher side it is clearly marked with a price tag. My only wish is that the beers were organized, I had to go up and down the aisles to fully grasp their selection. For those looking for more simple brews, Abe's Cold Beer has you covered stocking those easy to find macro beers. Abe's also has a great selection of bombers (foreign and domestic), although that was not what I was searching for. I picked up 2 six packs with a variety of beers to try once I got home.

I went in to buy a slushie and he told me about all of the new flavors and gave me his personal recommendations. He offered me samples and joked around with me as I taste tested. When I apologized that I had no cash for a tip he said he doesn't work for tips. He was just happy to help me. He shook my hand and said he was happy to meet me. And wished me a great day. I was determined though and found $1.50 in coins and two free drink tokens for the Alliance Fire Hall in my purse to offer him. LOL I hope to run into him there to thank him again. GREAT STAFF! They have a great selection of beers domestic and import all types bottles, cans I was blown away by the selection, all the beer stores in LA do not have this much selection. It was like walking into beer heaven. They had every type of Coors Light that is offered in America. Also growing up in Virginia, I always look for this Baltimore beer National Bohemian and YES THEY DID!!! Drinking that beer brings me back to Ravens games Huge Selection and great prices drive me back here anytime I visit the Lehigh Valley!!

The proprietor was friendly and laughed when I expressed my surprise about the liquor laws. We then explained the craziness and how his beer was fairly priced. I picked up two 6-Packs for my stay in PA for me and my son to share. Since I was out of state he gave me a free bottle opener. I will be back to Pennsylvania Avenue next time I am in town.
