We had to go in and check it out! The house plant selection was gorgeous and the different shirts, dresses, kids clothes, jewelry, knickknacks and little stickers were alllllllllll ADORABLE. The owner Madeline was seriously such a sweetie and made sure to check in that we were finding everything okay. We chatted about our cats and favorite house plants and had genuine and friendly small talk. She recommended a few other shops around the area, and we took her advice and stopped at each one, but hers for sure was our favorite by far. She was obviously in love with her job and proud to be the owner of this pretty City Kitty and it really made her and her whole shop glow. We really enjoyed meeting her and seeing her positive attitude brighten up the already shining shop. Being a small individually owned shop, I found the prices fair and was completely glued to this cute little black Colorado wildflower tee, which I ended up buying :) my friend grabbed a necklace, a very similar wildflower tank top and really cute sticker. We had a hard time deciding what to pick, there were SO many cute choices! I'm definitely going to go back and pick out some of the precious kid clothes/books for my sister's baby due in October and definitely some more goodies for myself. Such unique, funny and really creative things for sale, such a personable experience. I took pictures of the delightful items my friend and I picked up but I really wish I would have taken pictures of the actual store, either way you need to go check this place out for yourself. I loved Kansas City Kitty and will be coming back with more friends next time!!! Please go say hi to the elegant, graceful and seriously thoughtful & kind Madeline, you will not regret stopping by. :-)

HEY you made my DAY in Fort Collins…read more This is Fort Collins. Not a lot of hippies, but some college kids, family oriented town. Yes, this is square but very friendly town. Over 20 boutiques in one small town. I really love the variety of clothes & accessories. I do regret that I ain't have anything from here. If I didn't see it myself, I wouldn't believe this shop exist in Fort Collins. But hey, if you are in Fort Collins, stop by there. You could spend $ 100 - 150, you would get high quality chic stuffs. It is hard to get this reasonable prices within Colorado. Locally owned. This town is always privileged. Boot your positive vibe with the staff or even she is the owner I am not sure. Well, you know what, I gonna buy something next time, for sure. The vintage vibe Cardigans I am craving in there.

It felt offputting and certainly not inclusive..

We visit Fort Collins every year for the holidays and when we saw this place I had to go in even though I maxed my budget already for the week. That was until I saw the perfect casual midi length sweater jacket. It was a white/grey/black knit blend and fit perfectly and goes with everything. I immediately purchased it because it was a sign from the universe I had to have it. Overall, the items are all quite affordable. I believe the jacket was around $72. The shop as a whole was crisp and clean with such a lovely selection of tops, jeans, jackets, accessories, and more. We spent some time chatting with the shop employee, who offered up some fun outing ideas for us during our stay. I can't wait to visit again and probably will poke around their online store too until we're back in CO again soon.

Clean, aesthetically pleasing location that is well organized and easy to move around so you can shop. 4. So that's the short and sweet. Here's a more in-depth story so you understand why I'm writing this review: I went to breakfast with my partner this morning. It was great. Arise for breakfast, check it out, 10/10 great place. So then we meandered around the shopping center, we stopped at Sprouts because we're pretty much always out of toilet paper. We were on our way to the butcher shop which I was stoked about, because who doesn't love butcher shops? Anyway, we're walking past island grill, and I look over and I see this necklace on a display, it was pretty cool. The dress the mannequin had on was also *stunning* and in a knee jerk moment I thought to myself, "I know they won't have it in my size, but the necklace is cute so whatever I'm gonna go see what's up in here." I go in, I am greeted by a voice, can't see a face but I'm welcomed by what I can only describe as an actual earth angel (I didn't grab her name, I was in a hurry waiting for a Lyft, so that's my bad). I asked to see the necklace and she very happily took it off the display, complimented me, and engaged me sincerely with interest. Just really killing the professionalism and human being game in general, you know? So I'm disparaging my body telling her I wish I could fit in the beautiful clothes in her store. So, she very nicely gives me the, "Girl, stop". So I look at a dress I like, I pout because it's not in my size, she reassures me and more importantly she *listens* to me. She grabs another dress, same designer, and proceeds to tell me about the brand, the fit, the fabric, etc. Look y'all, it's not the sales pitch. She engaged because what she does matters to her, because she's happy to work there, and because she's kind. What she didn't know was that I'm just beginning to emerge from a pretty crappy bout of depression that I, honestly, didn't think I was going to make it out of. The interaction I had at this store mattered, employees and human beans like her, matter. Her kindness and knowledge and patience are what made a necklace purchase become a necklace and a dress purchase. Items I'll cherish as long as I have them, that I tried on as soon as I got home because of the experience I had there made me feel beautiful and empowered. So yes, go to this store because it has beautiful clothes and accessories. Get something because you deserve it, honestly you do. Go back again and again because it's a shop that cares about making it's customers' experience*feel* good.
