We visited during their holiday stroll and the entire village was decorated for Christmas. Tons of people were out enjoying the day and it had a great energy. The only challenge can be parking on busy days like these. You might circle for a bit, or park across the street if things are completely full. Although I am not happy with the fact that they have raised everything in a store from a dollar to…read more$1.25 or higher, the only gripe I have with this particular Dollar Tree is that one cashier is always open and there's always a long line of customers waiting to check out! The cashiers are always kind (to me), regardless of being worked far too hard for a little pay. Other than the obvious foolishness to only keep one cashier line open, I'm grateful that there is a Dollar Tree nearby so that I can stock up on affordable prices when it comes to name brand household cleaning agents and snacks, which is all I buy within this nationwide chain.

The prices may be... competitive, however, it IS a surplus megastore selling several items in bulk unlike your regular grocery store. I've always been a fan of Sam's Club for their low prices in gas/fuel as well as the pleasant interactions that I ALWAYS have with their employees working hard to offer up kind and consistent customer service.

I have complained several times regarding them leaving packages outside my office after hours. This wouldn't be such an issue if I didn't leave specific instructions with office hours and DO NOT LEAVE UNATTENDED as the delivery instructions. I have called the 800 number the majority of the time to complain but this morning I called the club and spoke to a supposed manager (Alaina) because 2 cases of copy paper was delivered before 7:00 a.m. to my office and left outside. My office doesn't open until 8:00 a.m. We are in a "not so good" neighborhood. Hence the reason I have asked repeatedly for my orders to not be left unattended. She told me that I needed to contact their delivery company. That it had nothing to do with Sam's. Excuse me, I make my purchases from Sam's not a delivery company. She kept insisting that I contact Spark. No, I contacted the company that I gets my money. I'll be ordering my supplies from Staples from now on. Good bye Sam's.

I ventured in (due to an e-mailed coupon received from my being a member of their Big Rewards program) to simply shop picture frames for my new apartment and to my surprise the store's shelves were stocked with incredible products ranging from food to decent, quality interior decor! But it wasn't the store, alone, that impressed me, it was the exceptional customer service received from Cheryl, an extremely congenial, conversational and charismatic cashier! Not only did she apply my coupon which brought me in the store in the first place, she added another discount coupon that was expiring that very day, bringing my complete purchase total down to darn near half-off! Service like THIS (received from Cheryl) speaks volumes to a man like me because so many neighboring department stores are staffed with unhelpful and unkind employees with more than enough attitude. And who needs that?! Well... that's not at all the case inside this particular Big Lots.
