Blue Fancy. What a wedding gift! Kudos to Emily Martin, Lead Coordinator, at Blue Fancy for orchestrating our October wedding reception. We discovered Blue Fancy quite by chance and just 4 weeks out from our date when a friend mentioned that Blue Fancy provides "Day Of" coordination. Our circumstances were a bit non-traditional in that Tim and I married a few weeks prior to our reception. So we didn't require assistance with the ceremony part. We had done all the reception pre-planning ourselves, but never knew we could engage the services of a professional to execute the event. What a gift to discover Blue Fancy. They were very accommodating despite the fact that we weren't the typical customer and that our event was fast approaching. From the first meeting to blowing out the candles at the evening's end, Emily was on top of the details. She did an excellent job of communicating/coordinating with everyone and anyone who had a role to play, be it caterer, musicians, furniture rental company, the list goes on. And she kept us in the loop with regular updates. Ours was an outdoor party, and when the forecast for rain forced us to go to Plan B (tent) just 2 days before, Emily met with us immediately on site to determine the new layout of the event. Everything had to be re-thought ... where the bar would be set up, how the buffet would be served, where furnishings and décor would be placed, etc. Emily had great suggestions and little touches that pulled it all together beautifully. In fact, the atmosphere and flow worked so well that our guests couldn't believe it wasn't the original plan! When the big day arrived, all Tim and I had to do was show up and enjoy. How wonderful is that. Emily managed everything from set up to tear down and kept all the parts in-between operating smoothly as we transitioned from the cocktail hour, to dinner, to champagne toast, to dessert and dancing. Emily alleviated so much work and stress from us. She got us. She was organized. Her aesthetic helped create an inviting, lovely space. And she was a delight to work with. We LOVED working with Blue Fancy. Here is the story: I met with a few wedding planners early in our engagement, but nothing ever really "clicked." I felt like they were just sort of money-hungry and not very personable. When I met Morgan L., we got along right away. She's so down-to-earth and seemed to genuinely care about me and us outside of the wedding. We had a lot in common and I felt I could relate to her. Originally, though, I didn't think we could afford her. So, I met with one more planner from a different company who I didn't really like, and who never called me back anyway, and I realized we HAD to hire Morgan. She just made me feel so comfortable and I knew we'd regret it if we didn't book her. When I called her back, another couple had started the booking process with her, so she recommended we go with someone else in Blue Fancy. When I told her I only wanted her, she made it work even though the other wedding was the same weekend as ours. She even volunteered her time at the end of the night to help clean up, even though that wasn't part of the contract, to help us feel better about the cost. Honestly, it felt like I just had another maid-of-honor along side me the entire way, even though we technically only booked her for day-of services. She was constantly readily available to me and she went above and beyond all of the time. I'm so type-A and particular; I'm a teacher who knows how to plan. But I also have lots of anxieties and Morgan always understood and made me feel like I wasn't just a bridezilla or high-strung control-freak. She made me feel heard and validated and worked her butt off for me. On rehearsal day and wedding day, everyone LOVED Morgan and her assistant, Meghan. So many friends in the wedding party kept saying, "I love them!" "They're so awesome!" They worked so well together, they were both so intuitive, responsive, and fun. I'm in the process of setting up a time to meet with Morgan to tell her all this in person over a cocktail. We hired Blue Fancy Events for full service planning for our wedding 4/9/2022. After speaking with the owner Meredith, we knew Blue Fancy Events would be a good fit for us. We felt her company was very down to earth and she matched us to lead planner Morgan S. based on our personality. Morgan made the wedding planning process so fun and effortless. From the beginning, she took the time to understand our priorities and vision for the wedding to create the wedding of our dreams. Even though we chose a venue outside of the Milwaukee area Madison), Morgan still found amazing vendors near the Madison area - having Morgan vet the vendors and pre-select vendors that fit our budget and style was SO extremely helpful. Morgan assumed all vendor communication and meetings; and we were so thankful to have her on our side/advocate for us when our caterer tried to double the contract price last minute. We felt fully supported with every step, thanks to Morgan's guidance and expertise. For the wedding day, we cannot thank Morgan and Nikki (assistant planner) enough for such a flawless event. We absolutely appreciated everything Morgan and Nikki did that day: setting up all the decor/tables/chairs before noon, problem-solving how to hang the welcome signage, moving the ceremony arch and flowers, bringing all our belongings back to the hotel, etc (just to name a few). Everything was just done and ready, we never had to ask! Not only did we get to enjoy every second without any worry or anxiety, but the family and wedding party also got to really enjoy the day. (I feel like it's common for the family members/wedding party to assume day-of-wedding coordination roles which leads to a stressful experience for them but that wasn't the case for us!). If you're getting married, do yourself a favor and hire Blue Fancy! My husband and I opted to do their 'Wedding Planning Kit' for our wedding at the Milwaukee Art Museum, and it was absolutely perfect for us. Meredith was very helpful in the beginning with vendor recommendations (all of which we hired and were FANTASTIC), and helping us plan our budget. After giving us a great starting point, we felt confident that we could move forward booking all the vendors we wanted and tackling the 'big things' over the next 12 months. To be clear, Blue Fancy was not very involved throughout those 12 months because we did not hire them for 'full planning', but the advice and guides in the beginning were extremely helpful, and Meredith happily answered our questions throughout the year (though technically, she didn't have to). A quick note: The vendor recommendation list alone would be worth every penny! We booked all of our vendors from Meredith's suggested list, and every single one of them was wonderful. Once we got farther along in the planning process and we were getting close to the wedding, we were assigned our coordinator going forward- and Ali Nigel took over! I cannot stress enough how absolutely delightful Ali was. We had a long call to go over details about 2 months out from the wedding, and an in-person meeting 1 month out. From there she really took over most of the vendor coordination and communication. The week of my wedding I hardly had to deal with any calls, scheduling, or questions! Ali ran the rehearsal and the wedding day, and everything went perfect. Not only was she incredibly organized and one step ahead, but you'll also want to be her friend! My husband and I had such a wonderful experience working with Blue Fancy! We reached out to them last summer, less than a year before our wedding. The lovely Morgan Liddell got back to us pretty quickly and set up a phone meeting. We initially only wanted a day-of coordinator, but as we chatted with Morgan, it was clear to us that we wanted (and needed!) to book her for more. We went with Blue Fancy's Indigo planning package (partial planning), which meant that while we did a lot of the planning and booking of vendors, Morgan did a ton of research for competitive pricing, assisting us in the setup/layout of our venues, and communication with vendors, as well as being available for phone calls and a few in-person meetings. She was always calm, level-headed, and so kind and warm. Our wedding was a backyard event, and the day of our wedding when the time of our ceremony was quickly approaching, Morgan let me know it was raining. As always, her delivery was so calm and measured, which made me feel so much better about the situation, and therefore I had a clear head and could make a decision about what to do. We decided to have everyone wait out the rain inside, and when there was a window of no rain, brought everyone outside. The ceremony turned out to be beautiful. The sun came out as we were saying our vows--so needless to say, the delay was worth it! Thanks to Morgan and her two assistants for the day, Jan and Sarah, everything went incredibly smoothly; if anything went wrong, I didn't know about it, which to me is great. Powerhouse planners for extremely busy couples! I can't say enough wonderful things about Morgan Liddell and Jan Herman from Blue Fancy! As a long distance bride running a large business and living in NYC, I needed a strong team that could bring together the love and fun of Wisconsin (and details of course) while I maintained my life in NY. I was lucky enough to meet Morgan and immediately fall in love with her skills, services and insanely charming demeanor. Immediately, Morgan responded (under 5 mins?) to my request and we quickly chatted. I appreciated the speed, clarity and details from day 1. ... because let's be honest, it can get busy and complicated really fast. She always kept it real, easy to understand and fun. I cannot thank Blue Fancy enough for ensuring that all the time and care we put into planning our wedding translated to a beautiful day that went off without a hitch. Trevor was our Day-Of Coordinator, and even weeks before the wedding he lent us crucial advice and encouragement as we wrapped up the details. Between a thorough prep phone call and an on-site meeting with vendors, by the time I transferred all of our info over to him I really felt we were all on the same page and he was ready to go - which proved completely true; I keep telling people that in planning a DIY wedding on a budget, hiring Blue Fancy is one of the best choices my husband and I made. From greeting the photographer/caterer/bartenders and getting them set up, to handing me a drink as the reception began, to making sure we stuck to our timeline, he was on top of it. We also hired setup and teardown add-on services through Blue Fancy, so Trevor's assistant came in the morning and at the end of the reception to help him out; between the two of them, the room looked stunning and we got our deposit back no problem. I don't even know where to start...but ultimately, Blue Fancy was the best wedding decision we made. Both my husband and I have worked in corporate events in our careers so we figured we could handle a wedding no problem, but boy, we were wrong. We hired BFE and Morgan Liddell for the one-month coordination package, but to our surprise, Morgan was still available for our random questions during the whole wedding process. We were planning a Milwaukee wedding from out of state, so having an extra resource for MKE best practices/ ideas was extremely helpful. Once we were one-month out, Morgan met with us on a weekly basis, answered numerous late-night emails, connected and prepared all our vendors for us, and helped guide us for all the final important steps to take before the day-of. Wedding emergencies? No problem! Morgan's professionalism and calm approach were so seamless during the wedding craziness. BFE allows the couple to enjoy every moment of the day without any stress. When we were in the process of researching and choosing a Day-Of Coordinator, the choice became very clear after we interviewed Morgan from Blue Fancy Events. She then ended up far exceeding our expectations all the way through the wedding. We had the pleasure of working with Emily Martin at Blue Fancy, which was honestly one of the best decisions we made in the wedding-planning process. Though Emily was our day-of coordinator, she started working on our event a month out, calling our vendors and putting herself on their radar. When the week of the wedding rolled around, her efforts were evident; all of our vendors told us we were ahead of the game and in great shape--mostly due to Emily's work and communication. The best part? It all happened effortlessly behind the scenes. I don't even know where to start with Blue Fancy. My husband and I felt at ease from our first phone call with Jan. Planning a wedding is no small feat and I felt like I was about to break until Jan stepped in and took over. Not only did we feel comfortable with her abilities but we felt like we gained a friend! My husband said both on the wedding night at the week following, "I don't know what we would have done without Jan, she's awesome! Like, I could drink a beer with her she's that awesome!" :D In all seriousness, I had ZERO worries or issues. Everyone was where they needed to be and on time. All of our small, intricate, details were followed to a tee, and I felt like the both of us could truly enjoy our day without having to be interrupted. Morgan from Blue Fancy Events was nothing short of a miracle-worker. If you are getting married, especially with COVID impacting plans, you need someone like Morgan to help you to navigate the process. Your stress levels will thank you, trust me. We had the all-too-familiar COVID complications during our wedding planning process, where we specifically decided in November 2020 to do a small 20 person wedding in May 2021 and a big vow renewal + reception one year later in May 2022. Morgan helped to move and update the contracts with all of the vendors we had already booked, as well as found new vendors (including a new caterer) with just 6 months notice. Furthermore, we had extraneous circumstances where we had to fire our Florist 1 month before the wedding for negligence (no contract, no guarantee of work) and we were forced to pivot away from our online tux rental place due to shipping delays that threatened to leave my groomsmen naked! Morgan jumped into action and saved our day, finding us a local florist whose flowers are STILL being talked about months later, and finding us a local tux rental place that clothed my groomsmen on ~10 days notice. Our wedding was beautiful and I shudder to think what it would have looked like without Morgan's aid. She is a saint! read more

Having Emily from Blue Fancy as our day-of coordinator was easily the best decision we made during the planning process & of course on the wedding day! In the weeks leading up to our date, she was on top of every detail and made certain nothing was forgotten. She helped us to run a thorough but efficient rehearsal on Friday night, and put together an itinerary that was distributed to our wedding party, family & other guests, so that everyone knew where they needed to be & when. On the day of our wedding, Emily kept everyone on schedule, pinned the guys' boutonnieres, coordinated delivery and set-up at our reception venue with all of our vendors, and helped with my bustle. Jan and her assistant did the most amazing job. Jan was detailed and thoughtful and always ensured that our vision for our wedding was the most important driver for the day. She organized our walk though with our vendors where we went through the day of timeline, which really helped to ease my stress. She attended the rehearsal dinner to ensure the ceremony was on track and to make sure the venue was being set up to our specifications. On the day of the wedding, everything was executed perfectly. First, despite very busy schedules, Meredith kept us on track with the wedding planning process and ensured we didn't miss the smallest details that complemented our wedding venue, the Villa Terrace, and make the wedding ours (suggesting the carter announce the courses, since Rachel and I are both "Foodie's", having a string quartet, Memorable Music Ensembles, for the ceremony, and finding a vintage settee for our sweetheart table). Once she was on board, both my husband and I felt like she was not only friend we had known forever but someone who was on OUR team.
