Facilities are well maintained and easily accessible with any car. Some of the best attractions: Paddlefish, full-size school bus, sharks (not actual sharks...), nesting bluegill, and all sorts of interesting stuff. Cost is slightly higher than most other quarries in the area, but you get what you pay for. Expect to pay 25-35 per person based on amount of tanks needed. 10/10 would recommend.

Multiple people observed it, and talked about it amongst ourselves. I gave the review a 3 star (and nothing lower) because we love this place, and didn't want it to get a low rating on only one issue, but to be called a liar, by the owner, is unacceptable. What I and others saw, on that week, is factual, and stayed for a few days. And to have it dismissed and have my integrity called into question, by the owner, is unbelievably unprofessional. This was not a "revenge post" as you seem to be alluding to, this happened. I will not and am not putting down a great place, just because and I won't stoop to that level now, even though you called me a liar. I simply posted about an issue, that happened. We have been back since, and it hasn't been an issue, BUT to pretend what we experienced that trip, didn't happen, is unacceptable.

Sadly, not many places around here have sidewalks,…read moreso we rely on Cleveland Greenway as a safer option for walking away from the streets or brush. Creeks run alongside it, and people are seen fishing. We spotted some rock bass, creek chub, and green sunfish within the shallow waters. We've also spotted some garter snakes and a copperhead snake right to the side of the sidewalk, so BE AWARE, especially walking with pets or children. Parking areas and restrooms are dotted along the pathways. Bicycles are permitted, but watch for pedestrians. We attempted to ride our bikes on the Greenway, but it was too crowded with pedestrian traffic to be enjoyable. Dogs are also permitted but must remain on a leash. There is Greenway Park, located off Raider Drive, that offers a playground, restrooms, pavilion, event stage, open space, and public art. It's a nice place to rest. You can also reserve the pavilion and stage. It's advised to see Cleveland Greenway's website for reservation information.

If you are making the drive in to Bald River falls, just go the extra little bit to make it to baby falls. Latitude : 35.327531 and Longitude : -84.176742. I would guess it's about a half mile up the road. Baby Falls is a 15 foot drop of a waterfall along the Tellico River. We actually saw white water kayakers just up river from these falls. With the recent storm, the waters of the Tellico River were raging and had plenty of white water adventurers and some fishing too! When we stopped for a photo op, there was no one parked at the lot. We had plenty of time to walk around and site see and only saw another car pulling in as we were leaving. I love waterfalls- this year my other half had major foot surgery and is still recovering- so finding falls that are right off the road was the goal. I love hiking, but for those who can't- this is a great alternative! Two falls, back to back from each other. Not to mention plenty of amazing views of the river that runs parallel to the road!
