Delicious matcha, flat white and golden milk. I appreciate unsweetened matcha so we can add a little honey and avoid sugar. Great job guys!

Honey Latte @ coconut macaroon

I was pleasantly surprised with this coffee shop. It is in an area that seems to be very much bohemian artsy type are. But the honey latte is on of the best lates I've had. The espresso was smooth and they new how to mix the almond milk & a bit of half & half perfectly where it was frothy & smooth. Very impressed with this coffee shop.

I explore many coffee shops in Salt Lake City, and blue copper 2000 is one of my favorite go to places. It is easy to get to from my place and the atmosphere here is very relaxing. I recently stepped in and was greeted by Jon a very awesome guy that was very friendly towards me, and even offered to pay for my cortado when my card was rejected. The cakes and coffee here are never a bad choice. Please support this local shop. Thanks to Jon for making me feel welcome . And thanks for the sticker looks great on my car!

I got the spiced maple latte. It tasted like fall in a cup! I enjoyed the $1 sticker machine featuring local artists.

Stopped by blue copper for a coffee and coffee cake this morning and sat on a table outside. It was lovely. Coffee and cake were good and pairing well. The inside of the place is super cute!

I was so surprised that I liked blue copper as much as I did! I have never been to their original spot over near jade market & water witch so I didn't know what to expect. last month I got a tattoo next door at everybody tattoo studio & this is their next door neighbor. my sister & her friend came with me to my appointment & got some drinks next door while I was getting tattooed. they said that the coffee was just okay & the service was not good so i decided to go to my go-to in salt lake, caffe expresso instead. fast forward to this past week, my husband was getting a tattoo next door on wednesday. we were a little late to his 10:00 am appointment so we didn't stop in & get coffee before like we wanted. his appointment lasted 3 hours & we desperately needed some caffeine afterwards. the space opened up in early may just like their neighbor, ETS. the space is beautifully decorated & very trendy. the girls behind the counter were quiet, but still friendly & personable. we both got 20 oz. iced lattes & they were surprisingly impressive! no extra flavor shots or caffeine- just delicious strong espresso. this part of town (marmalade district) is up & coming & blue copper is just one example of a great new edition!

Delicious beverages and pastries both sweet & savory. Staff pleasant & efficient. Nice old building- large windows lend a sunny atmosphere.

The coffee here is very very good. It's quite pricy for not only the Salt Lake Valley, but very pricey for the neighborhood.

This place is amazing, coffee tastes heavenly. I would suggest a punch card for your regulars. Is there a reason you don't have it?

Very excited about Blue Copper's new location. Definitely not your usual coffee shop vibe, but really cool and still top-quality coffee.

I have also tried some coffee shops near downtown SLC. Salt Lake Roasting Co. is different. They offer a vast selection of beans from Africa, Asia, my country, Indonesia, and South America. This is an advantage because you can try to find varieties of coffee from around the world and mix them. Tips for coffee drinkers: 1. Identify your preference: Do you like bold coffee or fruity? Or, like me, 60% bold and 40% fruity? 2. Ask the barista which matches your preferences, or you can mix your favorites. 3. Buy pour-over coffee and ask to use 50% Brazil/Sumatra for a bold taste, and 50% Ethiopia/Peru/Any fruity beans to add a fruity taste. You can mix anything you want and match any ingredients to create So my point is, drinking coffee doesn't mean you need to drink what the barista serves. At Salt Lake Roasting Co., you can have an adventure of taste. Tips for Home Coffee Brewer: Consult with John, the owner. Ask about your preferences. He is like a doctor who can recommend the perfect beans for you. He is a fantastic guy. I think I like Ethiopia more than Bali, but he highly recommended that I should try Bali Natural. So, I trusted him and bought it, then brewed it at home. He also gave me a small amount of Ethiopian beans to test it. And he is right! I really like Bali Natural compared to Ethiopian beans. (This is personal preference.) Bali Natural has a fruity taste, similar to the Bali Kintamani I usually drink in Indonesia. He roasted it well. He is a genius! You can also get free beans after buying 9 times, if I'm not mistaken.

My personal favorite is the Thousand Mountains blend of Colombian and Guatemalan beans; it's their darkest roast, bold and strong with a hint of chocolate-ness yet smooth and flavorful. I've tried several of Sumato's blends, but this one is tops for me! I've been ordering for a couple years and always appreciate the roasted freshness of their beans when they arrive.
