I must amend my review to 5 stars, as Logos has vaulted into my top tier of local coffee houses! I stop by for a cortado at least once a week. The staff is always very friendly and the patio is an unbeatable spot to enjoy a cup of coffee!

Came to Logos to buy a bag of coffee. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The service was great and while I sat outside, the atmosphere was on point

This coffee shop was highly recommended on Yelp, and I was honestly surprised by it. The coffee was not very well prepared; the cappuccino was okay in flavor, nothing great. The foam didn't have that barista specialty touch, and the croissant felt and was as heavy as a brick. I should have asked for a refund!

Inside! Great place if you needed to work. Lots of tables and space.

Atmosphere and spot is cute! Coffee was average. Got an almond milk latte for $7 and it is disappointing when it is to hot and watery tasting, encourage to spend some more money on the almond milk brand you use.

Ask for extra shot. This is pretty milky for me. Not much coffee flavor.

This is an advantage because you can try to find varieties of coffee from around the world and mix them. Tips for coffee drinkers: 1. Identify your preference: Do you like bold coffee or fruity? Or, like me, 60% bold and 40% fruity? 2. Ask the barista which matches your preferences, or you can mix your favorites. 3. Buy pour-over coffee and ask to use 50% Brazil/Sumatra for a bold taste, and 50% Ethiopia/Peru/Any fruity beans to add a fruity taste. You can mix anything you want and match any ingredients to create So my point is, drinking coffee doesn't mean you need to drink what the barista serves. At Salt Lake Roasting Co., you can have an adventure of taste. Tips for Home Coffee Brewer: Consult with John, the owner. Ask about your preferences. He is like a doctor who can recommend the perfect beans for you. He is a fantastic guy. I think I like Ethiopia more than Bali, but he highly recommended that I should try Bali Natural. So, I trusted him and bought it, then brewed it at home. He also gave me a small amount of Ethiopian beans to test it. And he is right! I really like Bali Natural compared to Ethiopian beans. (This is personal preference.) Bali Natural has a fruity taste, similar to the Bali Kintamani I usually drink in Indonesia. He roasted it well. He is a genius! You can also get free beans after buying 9 times, if I'm not mistaken.

My personal favorite is the Thousand Mountains blend of Colombian and Guatemalan beans; it's their darkest roast, bold and strong with a hint of chocolate-ness yet smooth and flavorful. I've tried several of Sumato's blends, but this one is tops for me! I've been ordering for a couple years and always appreciate the roasted freshness of their beans when they arrive. We tried the Bee Sting (with a zinger) and a Vanilla Latte. You can tell they roast their own beans and make their syrups in-house in every sip. It totally elevated the flavors. We also grabbed a bagel with cream cheese and tomato jam along with the Bob Marley toast. To be honest, we had pretty low expectations for the food since it's a coffee shop, but we walked away so satisfied. The building itself is pretty cool and it was fun to explore the space a bit. It's a bit of a hidden gem and it was surprisingly quiet for a Sunday. There isn't a ton of seating, but since there wasn't a huge rush, we had no trouble finding a spot. We really liked the vibe here and will be back sooner than later.

Nothing like fresh beans from a local shop. They had ~15 different roasts that you can buy and take home, which gives something for everyone. The shop itself was built on a former bank, and there is still a safe in the center of the room. Which sets a cool tone for hanging out and drinking coffee. They have a small food menu, with things like avocado toast and bagels, that I'll have to try out next time. They staff is pretty nice and willing to make recommendations, and make each drink from scratch. The americano was good, but I'd want to try other drinks on my next visit. I would definitely suggest stopping in for your morning cup, or at least trying a bag of beans for home.
