Once the camper is sold. You are on your own. Brand new camper purchase and had a few warranty things that needed to be fixed. Couldn't get anyone to answer in service. Contacted salesperson Tracy, that was no help either. Emailed, left messages, etc. no response. Pretty much worthless. We wouldn't recommend purchasing from them and we will definitely go elsewhere in the future. read more

What a phenomenal experience. Start to finish. The full team there was about the same all the way through - helpful, and with an intention to meet your needs efficiently and at a good price. That is important as the full team is what is going to make this a great success - sales, finance, parts & service, delivery prep, reception, etc. They all matter. They were all on point. My main interaction was with Dawn in sales. She was the face of the company leading up to the delivery day. Dawn is friendly and reliable, and one of her goals is to put a great deal in front of you . Seriously. She's trying to make a great deal from the start. Think about that. Contrast this with Camping World that I worked with at the same time - the exact opposite. I did not even want a quote from CW after getting Dawn's quote. But they offered. Then when I declined they sweetened. Then when I declined and gave them a target price, they got closer but still had a $2k gap. Then when I declined and said I was moving on - they said "we could have done that deal." Well, guess what? You had the chance. Over, and over, and over again. Working with Dawn, the deal started out good. It got better as she sweetened it on her own initiative. It was so pleasant it made you nervous. Am I going to travel out there and meet disappointment at the finish line? Not a chance. GREAT team all the way through as mentioned above. In and out in about 30 minutes. My grandparents came out to NC to visit with me over the holidays. They are moving out here all the way from California. Instead of driving their RV out here, they decided to sell it and buy a brand new one. There were only two places who were selling EXACTLY what they wanted in an RV. Those places were California and Virginia. I live in Charlotte so it was no issue at all to drive them down their to pick up their dream RV. They are building a home in NC and they love to travel. Comfort is top priority and I think they found it and the perfect place. My grandpa had been communicating with a gal named Dawn. (I hope I'm spelling her name correctly) She was constantly up for answering all of my grandpas questions. I know he called her quite a bit. I can understand his level of stress because he was in California at the time. She was super helpful from beginning to end. The whole staff was super friendly. Dawn showed my grandpa all around the outside of the RV and even the inside. I have personally never been in one before and I was BLOWN AWAY. I never knew how spacious and homey these RV's could be. The model they chose was beautiful. Everything was perfect on the inside and outside. This beast had so many features I don't even know where to begin. We couldn't take it home the day we drove out to buy it. It was raining and I didn't feel comfortable with him driving it. So he went back a few days later with my husband to pick it up. It was easy to connect and was a smooth drive once connected to my grandpas truck. My grandpa has to still learn how to use some of the features on this bad boy but I know between him and my husband they could figure it out. He loves the self leveling system. There was an issue with one of the blinker lights. He wasn't sure if it was his truck or the RV. But the staff was so nice to help him figure it out. We think it was the rain that was messing with us because we tested his truck and everything worked. When their staff tested the RV, everything seemed to be working on their end too. Lol. So it must have been the rain. I know my grandpa really appreciated all the help and patience from this staff. Dawn was who he spoke to the most and she did amazing. read more

NO SERVICE HERE, BUYER BEWARE After 10 months, Jackie B. In the warranty department stopped responding to our issues on the new 2019 Montana fifth wheel we purchased new in February of 2020. She refused to provide warranty service and told us to go to another dealer. The sales lady, Tracy wouldn't even take our phone call to help us. The 2019 Keystone Montana we purchased is junk and I cannot recommend this brand or sales department or this dealer to anyone because their lack of professionalism. I would go to a more reputable dealer who deals in a Jayco North Points. Now we look for an attorney to solve our issues. Stay away from these losers! read more

We are experienced RV owners. My daughter wanted an R-pod and we talked with several dealerships. This dealer had the unit she wanted and they didn't play games with extra fees as they state in their advertising. We paid exactly what we expected. They were a pleasure to deal with and got her unit ready quickly. We had a shakedown cruise and brought it back for a few minor issues and they fixed them in 1.5 hours! Our sales lady Tracy was easy to deal with and the Sales Manager Wayne was helpful as well as Jason in finance. They are professional and have a great service department. We were very impressed. I wanted to thank RV Outlet USA for a great experience! We were in a terrible situation with our (used) 1 yr old camper, and in an immediate bind to replace it for an upcoming camping trip. My husband and I were honest and upfront about the problems with our current camper - submitted the credit application and waited to hear back. Not only did you refuse to take our camper (at first) but your finance manager left a very nice voicemail saying he "couldn't get 6's bought"- yet no one asked if we had money down or other options available, but offered to send me a buyers order to take elsewhere. So, we busted our tails talking to dealerships yesterday and this morning gave a deposit on a BRAND NEW TT with Bill Plemmons RV in Raleigh. Would you believe they're taking our TT in on trade, very reasonable, too, and were SO nice and easy to deal with!? Funny thing is, your sales department called my husband back this morning, very shortly after we gave the deposit to Plemmons, wanting to make a deal. Purchased New 2019 camper from Rv outlet USA in Danville ,Va. Camper was never cleaned . Nothing was checked to make sure everything working properly before delivery. Spiders in the shower, air conditioner in kitchen not working, kept tripping breaker. Molding falling down. None of the keys would fit outside storage compartments. Paneling in bedroom warped. Paid them over 500.00 to have it delivered to permanant site . When these issues brought to their attention, we were told sorry, nothing they could do about it , The 1 year warranty is a joke. I would never purchase anything from them again nor would I buy a Forrest River product. Worse customer care service I have ever dealt with. We have had several people tell us after the fact, they had experienced the same from them. read more

We are happy satisfied customers. What a great place to buy a travel trailer, fifth wheel, or any other type of camper. They offered great service from start to finish and delivered us our fifth wheel camper and we were able to save thousands of dollars over buying it from the competition. Unlike Camping World there are no hidden fees. You don't have to pay for transportation costs, preparation costs or as one of our salesman put it at Camping World, "this is what keeps the lights on Fee." We used to come here all the time and have made several purchases over the years. We came back recently (about 4 weeks ago) to browse and are honestly appalled at the changes that have occurred since we last were here which was only a little over a year ago. First I would like to say, the inventory is little to none compared to before and is WAY higher than other camping places. Secondly, the new "sales manager" (Eric) is absolutely horrible. He talks to you like you're stupid/never owned a camper, and really doesn't know when to shut up. I asked the receptionist (new as well, but very nice lady - we are used to Kendall) for Wayne but he wasn't there that day. Eric obviously needs to get to know the regulars around the area, because some of us have been going to RV Outlet for 10+ years and have owned campers longer. Talking down to potential customers is a no-no, you never know who you are dealing with! I was later informed by a mutual friend/buyer after I left that it is no longer owned by the Merricks and is now a corporate store. I am confused how that is so because aside from Eric's rude arrogance, he reeked of marijuana that he tried to cover with cheap cologne that didn't do the trick and his eyes were pretty darn red. I'm guessing this new corporate store allows the use of marijuana because he wasn't the only one - a guy with a hat and long pony tail walked by and we could tell he was high as well. Hey guys, remember the eye drops next time!!! I am for marijuana but not while at work - pretty unprofessional especially dealing face to face with the public! Do that on your own time!! We finally walked the lot alone because we couldn't locate the first sales person, only the impaired pushy sales manager. With everything combined, we just decided to leave. They have to be the biggest joke of a corporate store I have ever seen. If this is your idea of "corporate" professionalism.... wow!!! I bet even if I wanted to return later down the road, this place will not be here much longer for me to return to! What a MAJOR downhill spiral this place is in! Drove over 4 hours to pick up my new forest river boost XLR , staff was friendly the buying process was easy, but I didn't do a good inspection of the camper and some of the options on forest river web site that they said come on the camper did not, after I got the camper home I went to hook up my rear view camera, no power to the camera someone from the plant connected the wires wrong, the heater vent cover on the garage was off and behind the sofa the mounting plate is cracked, duct work under kitchen sink has a hole in it. The water heater drain plug was not tight, I went to fill my fresh water tank and water was running out of the tank someone forgot to put hose with cut off valve on it, I called rv outlet the assured me I would have it by the weekend guess what did not get it ,so we have to cancel our 1st trip. The factory and rv outlet did a poor pre delivery inspection,I am very disappointed not a happy camper. Saving a little money was not worth what I'm going through. Thomas read more

There are so many things we have had to research on our own that should have been gone over with us in our walk through. Camper should have been spotless for pick up but wasn't. Pretty disappointed there but, overall, we got the camper we wanted at the price we wanted but you won't be "knowledgeable" about your new $60,000+ purchase when you leave there. My husband and I drove 2 hours on a Saturday and then waited forty minutes for a salesperson which was fine. We looked at the RV we wanted and finally sat down with the salesman. He took all of our information to include our trade in so that he could call us Monday morning with a price quote. Never heard from him so we called him. Again he promised to call the next day. Well here we are going on three weeks later. Obviously this guy is working for fun and doesn't need money, huh! We have taken our business elsewhere. read more

Worst customer service ever. Went inside to inquire about a 5th wheel with front living. Was told we would have to look at each one ourselves, they couldn't tell us where specific rvs were parked. Oh, and they didn't have any sales people to help us. We could walk in the 96 degree heat to the far lot ourselves and look around. They did offer us a bottle of water. We ended up driving M our car over to the lot and after we had been back there about 30 minutes a girl came up to the car and said we couldn't drive around back there. We had seen 5-7 salespeople in the meantime, none asked if we needed help or told us that we couldn't have our car back there. We will not be buying our RV from this dealer. Bought a new Keystone travel trailer in August from RV Outlet. Completed the walk through and overview of the camper and all seemed fine. Took it out for our first camping trip and one of the rear scissor jacks wouldn't deploy with the automatic leveling system. Used the manual crank, no big deal, and figured I'd get it fixed under warranty when I winterized it. Took the camper in yesterday for winterization and the warranty work, authorized Keystone service center but not RV Outlet. Lo and behold I get a call today telling me there is no motor on the scissor jack. I understand this is a Keystone manufacturing defect, but how/why did RV Outlet have all four jacks down for the delivery walk through and not discover this issue? How did they complete the delivery inspection for Keystone with this issue? Did someone sign off on this knowing there was a problem? read more

My wife and I have been looking for a mid bunk house unit for a few months.. Debating whether it was worth going brand new or finding something newer, but preowned; we came across a preowned 18 unit at the VA location. When I got in contact with someone there, I talked with a sales lady named Dawn. Dawn was very quick to get numbers etc that I had asked for. When I wanted to negociate a little on the trade part of the deal, I was told they were wholesaling the unit to me, and they had to pay wholesale for my trade. (ok I get that, I've been in the car business for years) however, when I asked for the dealer to provide documentation on wholesale on their unit, and wholesale on mine, I was just completely blew off and told no by management. I felt they were very low on "wholesale" on mine, that's why I asked for them to provide something supporting their numbers. I felt it was very shady and seemed they had something to hide. as I mentioned earlier, I'm in the car business and I understand wholesale to wholesale, retail to retail, but I also understand when a customer ask you to provide the source of where the numbers are coming from, you give it to them. I would never do business with this organization just because the shadiness and lack of interest the manager had to provide documentation to support his offer. Go elsewhere folks and buy your campers. I can tell you they are a shady business in VA. read more

My husband and I purchased a jayco jay flight from Todd in June. Had the camper delivered to where why husband would be staying (living) during the week... well it was delivered on a Monday and Tuesday the refrigerator stopped working, JUNE 15!!!! I have called everyone under the sun there, the last gentleman I spoke to was supposed to call me back and never did... I have had to pay for the mobile service man to come and jayco won't talk to us directly. Still to THIS DAY he has no fridge in a brand new camper we bought from RV Outlet. No one cares to call us back or help us. We had it delivered because we don't have a truck to pull it as it was staying at this location for a year so we were in no hurry to buy one. They won't come service because it's 2 hours away from them. This place is awful. I cannot stress this enough. He are completely screwed with a brand new 2021 camper that we cannot all enjoy as a family with a broken refrigerator. If ANYONE THERE will call us back and help this get resolved we won't take another course of action... read more

Purchased new Rockwood 5th wheel RV and BW Companion 5th Wheel hitch. Just removed 5th wheel hitch from truck bed and notice that the hole that was cut in truck bed is off center by almost 1/4 inch. It has a big crack toward the front of the bed and over lap on the back side of the bed, now that is the first thing that you notice when you look over in the bed of the truck with the 5th wheel hitch removed.. Sales customer service was good but would not recommend service for 5th wheel hitch installation. read more

Picked up our unit on July 4th. Had 11 AM appointment that they changed to 11:45. Arrived on time and unit had not been cleaned or checked for problems. Was told the our sales rep (Kelly) was too busy with a customer (not sure what I was) to do our walk thru. They needed to install my Anderson adapter on the pin box (about a 10 minute job) but they could not get it done as their hitch guy was busy with a customer. Finally, around 2 PM or later I was told to bring my truck out back. They set up the pin box adapter in about ten minutes but then discovered that the cameras I had purchased did not work even they had set them up prior ( I guess no one checked them). In addition there was a nasty stain on the floor that they tried to convince me (originally) was the way the floor was designed. Also, a leak around the sink was now discovered but no one wanted to look at this. It was time to leave. Maybe if some of this had been done in a timely manner as promised these issues would not have come up. The worst was Kelly promised to call me on July 7th to make arrangements to do some of this work but as of today 087/19 no one has called. (may be busy with a customer I suppose). Not sure i would recommend RVOutlet or buy my next RV there. read more

I shopped hard all over the East coast using web sites, so when I contacted RV Outlet I knew just what I wanted. They quickly responded to the online form I filled out but they didn't keep pestering me. Dawn showed us the unit we were interested in, which was just as we expected so it was on to negotiations. We were very satisfied with the price we agreed on and feel it's a good bit below what others were offering. NO ADDED FEES! The delivery walk though was relaxed and unhurried. I had already decided I wasn't interested in an extended warranty. When we got to the finance office to sign papers the finance person offered the extended warranty. I let him finish his presentation then I declined. That was in. When buying cars I've experienced a lot of pressure to buy the warranty but this was not that way. All in all, a pleasant experience and a good deal. Hopefully when service is needed the experience will be just as good. read more
