We still have several on going issues that have been ignored after several weeks of trying to get them resolved. Both showers had major leaking issues. One of them has been fixed but the other is still unable to be used. I've asked multiple times if the drywall where the water was leaking was going to be replaced to avoid mold growth and have been ignored. The tile/grout work looks very sloppy and rushed, one of the tiles is already cracked, there's huge gaps on either side of the showers around the trim, the grout on the shower walls in cracking in several places. Multiple project managers and subcontractors have also noted how unprofessional it looks but it's yet to be fixed. The ceiling repair they did do is unfinished and we were told by the contractor to just "sand it to smooth it out once it dries". During the shower installation they put a screw thru the bathroom wall into our bedroom that they promised to fix but we ended up doing ourselves. They left piles of boxes in one of the bedrooms that we had to remove and haul away ourselves. During the last 'walk thru' to see what still needed to be complete our project manager was speaking with other subcontractors stating "we need to hurry up and finish this project so we can get paid". One of the things promised on our original contract was to use self leveling concrete to make the floors completely flat after the subfloor was installed but they didn't want to do that bc they weren't contracted to install the flooring and declined to do it. We didn't receive that money back. We paid over $36k for this project to look perfect and professional but it looks like a budget DIY project. I have Multiple Sclerosis and am unable to fix these problems myself, nor should I have to. This has been one of the worst experiences I've had with a construction company.

This company built our deck 13 years ago and I thought I would tell other people what the…read moreconstruction was like. I will try not to say anything negative just give the facts. They built the deck with nails and never asked us to use screws. The nails completely rotted away and caused water to wick into the Joyces destroying those. The 4 x 4 posts were not completely surrounded by concrete and completely rotted away at the ground level. The sliding glass door that they installed where the trim work was on the floor inside the house was done very poorly and the linoleum separated again very soon after our warranty was over. Due to the design of the deck two boards were placed together instead of using one and water gap between them and completely rotted them and the outside 12 x 16 wood away.

Working with Eastco Contracting was a great experience from beginning to end. They were exceptionally courteous and quick to respond to any question or request throughout all phases of the project. They offer a military discount on top of their already affordable estimates, and just because they will deliver an estimate to your project below the competition doesn't mean the work will suffer. The final product was a masterpiece down to every detail. Their lead contractor, Marlon, takes true pride in his work and will not call the job finished until you are 100% happy with the work. As far as the previous review of poor quality, I disagree. The craftsmanship is great and exceeds expectations, and if there are any issues they are quick to come out and fix to your satisfaction. The materials are whatever you pick; they give you, the customer, the choice in every material from cabinets, to floors, to grout, to the hardware, and everything in between. I cannot recommend EastCo Contractors enough for any job, big or small.

Surfside had to go through the concrete slab and replace the entire plumbing runs for the bathroom. Then install all of the new fixtures, walls, floor and ceiling. Trey Livers, his right hand man Mike, and total crew were always professional and accommodating. If there was a schedule change we always got a text or call. We were never left guessing what was next. We recommend them highly for any renovation project. They also do roofing, concrete work and any type of remodeling.
