I did not appreciate that they put stickers on every piece of my original media. Some of these items were somewhat valuable.

I'm fairly sure I'll need to raise a dinosaur in order to top her gift. So ballooning ain't new, but it's extremely safe, tremendously peaceful, and a rather easy-paced thrill ride. Ballooning has been around for nearly 250 years and has evolved rapidly, and 'hot air ballooning' is now both competitive & peaceful recreation. But history aside, just know that Old World Balloonery is spectacular and Jason & crew deliver a phenomenal experience start to finish. We had to be up early, like early early. Once we were at the launch site, Jason & crew began the preflight process of filling the balloon, going through safety training, and getting us launched. That process was maybe 30 minutes and fascinating to watch, learning the nuances of the balloon, and helped build our anticipation. Once aloft, the majesty of the morning lay before us. The sun was rising, cows mooed, roosters beckoned, and the land began to look like a map laid out with green space aplenty. We drifted mostly northeast, reaching a top altitude of about 1250', a top 'speed' of 22 mph, and floated for about an hour. We waved to many folk out on morning walks or even enjoying coffee on their decks. Our landing was gentle and controlled, and the crew quickly packed the balloon and basket for the trip back. Oh, and Jason cracked a bottle of sparkling wine and toasted our maiden voyage. So I don't know the price, but I can tell you all about the VALUE. We never felt pressured, intimidated by the experience, or rushed. It was simply top shelf across the board and an experience that we will not forget. I highly encourage you to check into it, especially in great weather. It was certainly a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and a 'bucket list' item.
