Then the day of the massage, one of the masseuse that was at the front desk, greeted me right away. Was very polite and was very friendly! Then my masseuse was Joy. She was AMAZING! This was by far thee BEST massage I have ever gotten. Joy went over my info before she begun, confirmed the areas I had put on the form that I wanted targeted the most. Joy checked on the pressure and made sure I was comfortable. I had a deep tissue massage with the therapeutic relief head, neck and face. It was SO RELAXING! I cannot express enough how FANTASTIC this massage was! When I left, I felt like I was floating. All my tension was GONE. I will definitely be returning in a couple of weeks!

Then I came across Alma and Albert of Back to Life Massage through a Groupon. I hadn't had a quality massage for 4months because I had been in SA all that time and had given up on the hopes of getting a good deep tissue massage. I had tried a couple spots but... they didn't provide a deep tissue massage that worked. I read Back to Life's reviews on Yelp and since they're conveniently located, I gave them a try. Glad I did! Albert used his elbows and knuckles to tease out knots in my back, shoulders and neck. He certainly gives NYC Chinatown Massage pros serious competition! He was very responsive to any verbal indication I made. He was very tuned to my trouble spots finding them on his own. There was one spot I had always ignored but he found it and gave it attention... My lower backside. He tried a side massage requiring I swing my leg back for deeper access to lower backside. It worked and I swear it was like magic! During my visit, Back to Life massage demonstrated advanced knowledge, high skill, high commitment to healing, and high responsiveness to your body and verbal cues. They have a special if you sign up for a number of massages. I most definitely will take advantage of it. After years of searching for my San Antonio go to massage spot comparable to my NYC spot, I found it! If you're in search of affordable, quality deep tissue massage, Back to Life Massage is for you!

I've used chain massage establishments in the past and they were good, but I was looking for more than just good to deal with some of the muscular issues I'd been dealing with. The location is very easy to find and there was plenty of parking. The location is well kept and the massage room was very quiet, comfortable, and relaxing. The combination of the soft relaxing music being played and the mini waterfall was very soothing. I liked the music and the lighting, and the heated bed. The hot towels and essential oils were a great touch.
