This Mexican food purveyor is listed on our local Door Dash and a couple weeks back we opted to give it a try. Its address is the same as Puerta Vallerta restaurant, which makes it a bit mysterious. Why would they not use their own name?
Our food arrived quickly through Door Dash, our driver had a short wait.
My kid chose chicken street tacos with rice and beans and a horchata. He said the tacos were just ok, he liked the rice and beans, and said the Horchata was fine but not the best ever. It was a lot of food. $20ish w/ added sour cream and guac.
I got a California Burrito, hold the black beans. It had french fries, rice, pico, carne asada and cheese inside. It was missing the promised guacamole and sour cream. We had some light sour cream at home so I made do. But I was sad about no guac. Also about $20. ( cut in half and not wrapped in foil like you would expect).
They included a bag of pretty good warm tortilla chips, a delicious medium chunky salsa, and a hot green salsa and even hotter dark red salsa. Much appreciated.
This was a pretty good experience overall. I think we would try it again. read more
