While I didn't think that my meal was great, it was good, and certainly enjoyable. The onions in the tart were carmelized which made the dish slightly sweeter than I cared for, but what can ya' do? I gave The Minnow 4 stars because my husband loved his meal, the atmosphere is wonderfully warm and inviting, and it was a nice family-friendly spot for a Saturday afternoon. Lots of babies and children (all quite calm and relaxed) with their families, which was nice since my husband and I stopped by with our 3-year old daughter. Having made my own crispy Japanese gyoza in the past I know this to be a lie. Im pretty sure they just served us a £5 plate of nothing. The mains on the other hand were outstanding.
