The Lawn Squad was phenomenal from start to finish. I've lived in my home since 2001, and my front…read moreyard and beds were long overdue for a makeover. My landscaping knowledge basically stopped at knowing I needed new sod, the old bushes removed and replaced, and some kind of erosion control along the side of the house. Adam, the owner, came out to give me a quote and immediately put together a thoughtful design plan--plants, rocks, mulch, sod, and everything else--while staying within my budget. Hardworking, detailed, friendly, and organized barely begins to describe Adam and his crew. Windy, the co‑owner and office manager, is just as impressive: easy to reach and quick to respond. The Lawn Squad truly rescued my yard and brought it back to life.

This company maintains my neighbors yard. The work is just fine. I just have a complaint about…read moretheir customer service and consideration of drivers. They park on a curve and at the direct end of a neighbors driveway making it hard to get out of the driveway and drive safely around. When asked directly if they would consider backing up to not block others and get away from the curve, "we will think about it" was the reply with a smirk on their faces. They then proceeded to unload the truck and proceed. I was just looking out for the safety of their truck and the drivers in that area. I felt this was disrespectful and would never suggest this company if you live in a neighborhood with narrow streets.

I am giving 3 stars because my lawn did green up after their treatment. However, I am not giving 5…read morestars because it took them 3 days to complete the treatment. The first day was a hot, sunny day. The man who came aerated my lawn. He told me that he was too tired to do anything else and he was going home. He wanted to be paid even though he had not completed the treatment. I already had a check made out to him for the aeration, as well as the spraying; so I showed it to him and told him that I would give it to him when he completed the work. He was supposed to come back the next day. Next day - no show or phone call. The third day someone came and completed the treatment and accepted payment. I fired them, but someone came at another time to treat my lawn. I told him that they had been fired. I would have continued to work with them except for the old guy who came out first blighted the whole experience.

On Sunday 7/26/25, I found the Total Brush Removal Llc website and submitted a request for a free quote. Jeremy sent me a text very quickly and we set up a time the very next day for him to come by and see what all needed to be done and give me a quote. Monday, 7/27, he came by and he gave me a quote. He told me that the job would be done on Thursday 7/30. I agreed and we talked about what time I'd be home from work and how to make payment. He told me the job would be finished before I made it home but I could call and make payment or he could come by and get the payment. Monday night at 9:03pm, he texted me a Property Restoration Proposal document. Just the document, no text with it. In the body of the proposal, it states "We appreciate the opportunity to restore your property and look forward to completing your project on July 30." I was at a concert so I opened it, scanned it, and put my phone away. On Thursday 7/30, I ended up being sick so I was at home all day. I kept expecting to see the crew come by and start working. I never received any kind of communication from Jeremy so at 6:19pm I sent him a text asking when they were coming by. Jeremy sent me a text saying he didn't get a confirmation from me for the date and he stated "I was trying to squeeze you in there it'll probably be next week until I can get there." I responded and told him we spoke about the date and time AND the proposal even had that date, I took that to mean it was confirmed. He then responded with "Okay must have slipped my mind you have to excuse me on that. I'll try to squeeze you into tomorrow otherwise I can have them there monday." I ended the conversation with "okay, great." Guess who NEVER showed up? Not the next day OR Monday... and has NEVER communicated anything else to me. I really wish I could've been able to rate the quality of the work but, unfortunately, the poor communication and lack of follow through was all I experienced.
