Not only was I charged for a supposed "important and medical necessity" mouth guard that was never provided, I was also ignored and had my phone calls dropped when inquired about it. But they were quick to send me a bill that was not covered by my insurance or care credit card (which they racked up). I paid my dues but still no REFUND for A SERVICE NEVER PROVIDED. You charged for the service, never communicated about said charge or when to make an appointment to receive said "medically necessary" mouth guard, and just added more fees for X-rays and other visits. Also my pain was not regarded on my last appointment. I was in the dental chair for 4 hours getting my permanent crowns in. Never once offered and when asked the dentist said "your pain management is so good and you tolerate pain so well I didn't think to ask." And they had me waiting almost an hour after the crowns to finish a deep cleaning but oddly no pain management offered because the person went home. They also keep harassing my phone and calling me to set up more appointments but still haven't given me a refund for the mouth guard. Definitely fell for the scam of friendly medical office but it's just a business like normal and they just want to milk the cow until it's dry. Thank you for helping me with my teeth, I appreciate the service provided to help but clearly they don't actually care about the patients.

Because we've been patients here for years, this recent experience with the front desk was extremely disappointing. My original appointment was scheduled for Wednesday, August 12 at 10:00 AM. On Thursday, August 6, the office called me and asked if I wanted to move my appointment to Friday, August 7 at 10:00 AM. I agreed, but later that evening my kids reminded me that they had something going on at school that Friday morning. I called the office as soon as they opened to let them know I couldn't make the newly moved appointment and asked to keep my original appointment date. I was then told I would have to pay a $50 same-day cancellation fee. I was confused because my original appointment was not that Friday--the office had contacted me and asked me to move it up to Friday. I understood that I had agreed to the change, but I didn't feel it was fair to be charged a same-day cancellation fee when the appointment had originally been scheduled for the following Wednesday. Despite this, I called again on August 19 to schedule my cleaning. I was given an appointment for Monday, August 31 at 12:00 PM. I was again told about the $50 fee and was told I could speak with Dr. Park about it when I came in. I agreed. I drove approximately 45 minutes from Anaheim to San Pedro for this appointment, only to arrive and be told there was no appointment for me on the schedule. After checking my information, the front desk staff member told me that I had never actually been scheduled because I didn't want to pay the $50 cancellation fee. This was extremely frustrating because my understanding from our conversation was that I WAS being scheduled for that date and time and could discuss the fee with Dr. Park when I came in. What makes this even more disappointing is that I made a 90-minute round trip, spent money on gas, and rearranged my day based on what I was told by the office. If I was not actually going to be scheduled, that should have been clearly communicated to me when I called. I understand that dental offices have cancellation policies, but there also needs to be clear communication and good customer service. Patients should not have to drive nearly an hour each way only to arrive and find out they were never actually scheduled. After being a patient here for years and coming here through my dad's Longshoremen insurance, I expected much better communication and customer service. I hope management addresses this because this experience was extremely frustrating and could have easily been avoided with proper communication.

He has consistently applied his exceptional skills and knowledge helping to fix, maintain and improve our family's teeth better than any dentist I have known.
