I'm happy I went of my 1st instinct not to deal with this company. They came out after a week of waiting then his Sales assistant was trying to get me to do extra services known to man . Trying to upsell, being that I am in sales I know the game. Told them what I wanted & my budget. After his salesman kept finding everything known to man that I needed to fix I already had wrote them off. Pissed me off actually. It took them a week to come out so by that time I had other offers. They went thru an entire conversation with about the layout & Brian calls me a day later to say they are not able to do the job. They were just not interested because my money was not worth there time and wanted to do more work. This is a great company. What we were most impressed by was the communication. We did a walk through with Brian of our property, and he explained clearly and easily what could be done, what he'd recommend, and what options we had. When the job was scheduled, they had to push the start day, but let us know right away. The team that came to do the work was HUGE. Like 10 guys with big heavy machinery and equipment to really do it right. Overall, the yard looks much neater and cleaner now. The price was a bit painful for us, but we realize it needed to be done. I'm not sure if another company would be cheaper or not, but if they are, they may not have this quality. read more

I hired Bryan to trim my 25+ year old Live Oak tree. A crew was sent by Bryan to trim the tree. When they were finished and I saw the tree I was shocked. At least 60-75% of the canopy was gone. There were long branches which were cut off in the middle of the branch with no leaves left. There were some short 2 foot long braches without leaves left sticking out from a larger branch. I had an arborist come out the same day. Three other tree companies acknowledged what a disasterous job BLT did. The tree must now be removed due to the improper pruning (chop job) done to this tree. It was a large tree in a smaller front yard. We discussed thinning the tree out as the grass beneath was not doing well and my neighbor had complained about all the leaves dropping in his gutters. Bryan voiced understanding. However, after our discussion, I never saw Bryan again. He sent a crew with one bilingual employee. In retrospect, I obviously should have gone out and supervised this crew myself. He is most likely sub contracting work out to people who don't know a thing about trees. BEWARE. read more

If there was zero stars thars what I would leave. Brian is very unprofessional, lawn was never cut in time and he made me pay and then refused to cut my lawn. Many times he mowed over plants in my yard, skipped my lawn service and was very rude. Run away from this company. read more

Brian is very professional on his first visit, promises to care for your property and tells you it will look fantastic. The truth is, he is overwhelmed, not organized, poor communication skills and not always attentive to your property. They should be letting customers know problems before they become disasterous and costly to repair. His crews are not knowledge enough to see the signs or even the potential for more business. Depending upon the crew, this will be the deciding factor if your property is taken care of. So I do not doubt, some of his customers are satisfied. Unfortunately he has failed miserably with mine. Told me he could come next morning @ 7:30am, exchanged a few texts after the phone conversation, re: address etc. No problem.....next day @ 7:25am, he texts me and says he can't make it, can't take on any more work. ????? Why didn't you say that during our phone conversation yesterday?! Very poor customer service. Brian, the owner, is both friendly and professional. He takes great care of our lawn and landscaping. His team is efficient and thorough. We have numerous palm trees and plants. Brian alerts us whenever there is a problem and takes care of it for us. I have never had any complaints about his service . He has been handling our property for a few years now and we feel lucky to have found him. Our plants have thrived and our lawn looks great. His crew is careful when mowing the property. If any plants need to be trimmed or cut we are always told about it beforehand. After numerous calls to other lawn services with no answer, BLT was the only one to pick up right away! I found Brian to be very professional and reasonably priced. He showed up on time when he said he would even after hurricane Matthew. I am super happy with the total yard clean up (lawn cut, bushes and hedges trimmed and coconut palms cut and hauled away) I will definitely use him for bi-weekly service.
