Hired Arbor , which was working across the street, to cut down two areca palms and to remove all seed pods from those areca palms adjacent to pool at a cost of $800. The two palms were cut down but not all seed pods were removed and seeds continue to fall into pool. Arbor spent approximately 1.5 hours on the job. Called Blake to request Arbor to complete the pod removal and Blake hung up the phone. Over all review: POOR QUALITY WORKMANSHIP, EXCESSIVELY EXPENSIVE AND NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. read more

This company did a good job in October 2022 when they came to trim our trees. We worked with Blake at that time. We used them again in March 2023 and worked with Mike who I believe is running a scam, overcharging for services that he and his partner didn't even complete (in order to take money off the top?). First, the job was supposed to be around $600 (an estimate) but I added on a couple of things after we walked around the property and Mike pointed out some issues which may or may not be real. Next thing I know, he is coming to the door saying how big our place is (it's not) and claiming to have sprayed 60 gallons worth of soil treatment at $33 a gallon but he would only charge me for 50. There were a few other things that he said that they did and the total went from $600 to $2850. I paid them but had a feeling Mike was lying, I checked our Ring cameras after they left and discovered that they hadn't sprayed anything! The next day, I called them, and all of a sudden the story changed from " we already did this" to " Oh we were always going to come back and do it today. we're on our way to you after we go to the check cashing store to cash your check" ( this is when I realized that not only was I screwed but that the owner probably has NO idea that these guys are cashing checks with his name on it. In October, it seemed like the check we gave them was actually deposited into a bank. Five hours later, they showed up poked some holes in the ground put in soil treatment then sprayed nowhere near 60 gallons of chemical. Maybe 10-15 tops. Did they refund me for the rest? Of course not. The saddest part is that Mike seemed so nice but he's a scammer like many other contractors here in Florida. I hope his boss, Charles Wolfe wakes up and realizes that his employees are not being honest with him or with his customers. Read their very mixed reviews on Google and here on Yelp, I wish I had done that before rehiring them. This was a distressing and disappointing experience. read more

Changed the price between quotation and starting the work. Asked for the cash before even doing half the job. I asked for "Pup removal of traveler palm shoots in the quotation" and his crew wafted a chain saw past my Traveler palms to remove some of the dead wood. He left a large pile of Debris on the swale wanting the bulk trash to pick it up. His crew wouldnt clean up my stick cactus and refused to take it away. Worst job I have had done in 30 years of doing a Hurricane Trim for my garden. They will not be coming back. read more

It started out good, but be careful and verify their credentials. Patrick was working in our community, and I stopped to ask him about a tree that was damaging my driveway. He said he was a certified Arborist so I would not need a permit. He said he would remove, stump-grind, cut all roots and fix the damaged pavers. The first day went well, and I gave him a deposit. He didn't finish the second day, but asked for full payment since he would finish the next morning. He didn't come back, so I put a stop payment on the final check. He didn't come back to finish until the next week when I was out of town. I also received a violation notice from my HOA for removing a tree without a permit. I left a note for him so when he finally returned, he called me back and said not to worry he would give me all the documents I needed. I released the check since I saw him working on my security camera. Mistake! I came home to find he didn't actually cut all the roots, and there is still a bulge in the walkway. Then he disappeared. No arborist report for the fines. I finally reached him and he did apologized and promised to email me the documents in 45 minutes. That was 5 days ago, and no answers since. I checked the ISA, and neither he nor his company are listed as certified arborists. F rating on BBB site. Do NOT pay them until they finish, and don't trust them with anything that requires a permit. read more
