I have no idea why it was chosen as a Texas dive bar. It is a quintessential Texas beer joint (primarily), but it does not have the dive bar look --- it is far too bright. That said, the draft beer (Coors Light) was good and cold and promptly served. Only improvement would have been regular Coors on tap. Clientele seems to be older regulars (I'm not complaining, just remarking). There's an area out back which might be smoking okay? Not sure Oddity: A purple wig rests on a trophy for winning some kind of snake dish. And there's a jewelry display case. (I don't know why.)
