He looked at me with shock when I told him when I needed the dress. He said prom dresses need a least a couple of weeks to be done and he had so many to do. I apologized for my ignorance and told its ok if he's wasn't able to take on the work but he told me it was ok and that he just wouldn't take on any other work. I couldn't believe how accommodating he was being. I was so appreciative that I didn't even ask how much it would cost. He even gave me a date 2 days before prom to pick it up. I have to admit that when I left I began to worry about the cost of this rush job but when I returned not only had he done an amazing job with the dress he only charged me $40 for the work!! They had my suit ready the next evening by 5:00 pm as they offer same-day or next day service as a standard. There is no extra fee. It's just how they do it. Just make sure that you drop off your clothes before 9:00 am SHARP for same day service. I kept going here and found out more about this place... They are a local chain with a few locations throughout the GTA. They also offer an environmentally friendly cleaning technology called Green Earth Cleaning, using their own custom blend of sand-based cleaners to get great results without using the traditional dry-cleaning solvents on your clothes. In other words, the clothes look great, they don't smell like a dry cleaner when you pick them up, and the process has less impact on the environment. What's not to like? Finally, this is a high-end dry cleaner and they offer extras that others don't, such as after-hours clothing drop-off, automatic credit card charging for their service, clothing delivery to your home after cleaning, small alterations and tailoring, and even Blue Ribbon service. The Blue Ribbon service costs more but ensures that one specialist will take your garment through the entire cleaning process, start to finish, by hand. The only reason that I won't give Gibson's a full five stars is that it is a bit expensive. If the prices were a bit lower for their regular laundering and dry cleaning service, it would be a perfect 5/5. With long hours, friendly and fast service standard, and high-end extras that you wouldn't expect from a dry cleaner, Gibson's is a great place to go and I highly recommend them!
