Cornerstone is a damn fine school with great people. Not really any better middle or highschool in the area. And having kids go there for 14 years isn't bizarre given that they offer pre-k and daycare.

I am fully convinced that Cornerstone Christian Academy is either not real or a serious cult. I…read morehave never seen its students mingle with anyone outside of their compound. The one small building, its obscure location, and lack of public knowledge lead me to believe that these children are in danger. I have seen the Scientology documentary and fear for the safety of my peers. Quotes such as "my children have been here for 14 years" prove that children are being trapped and forced into this cult. I know many members of the surrounding neighborhoods and they state that they have "never seen any of the children outside." The one encounter I did have with the students, they were seen wearing shirts that say "Cream City" on them, showing their disconnect with modern society and pop culture. If the elders of this cult knew what this meant, it is going against all Christian beliefs. Overall, #FreeTheKids #CreamCity #CCA

Very sweet instructors here! They have specials for the first Friday of every month, so we took…read moreadvantage of that as our first visit. Even though we arrived to the location 20 minutes early it took forever to find parking, and we were 5 mins late because of that! Make sure to account for that if you're going on a Friday or weekend night! However they were super sweet and nobody minded us as we came in later, they showed us to our stations and where we could get glasses/open our wine. The entire painting experience was nice and the instructor kept things well paced so that everyone could keep up. One thing that I would note is that the brushes here have seen a lot of love so they are a bit frayed and I'm afraid that does affect the way your painting comes out since you might not be able to follow the instructor 100% accurately with all her brush strokes. Overall, it was a good experience and a fun time to share with friends, and I love supporting local businesses, so I'd definitely recommend checking their website out for what classes that have coming up!

I was surprised at how nice my painting turned out, too.. the artist we had did a good job of walking us through the paining techniques. I will actually hang it up at home!

For all you "double red" donators, you should call ahead to see if the machine is going to be there on the day that you want to give. I was talking to one of the employees the last time I donated and it sounds like it's hard to predict when that option will be available. For those of you yelping blood donation options, I hope this was useful.
