Before heading out for the concert, which was in Boulder City, I stopped by Tiger Lily to pick up flowers and a card as a little thank you/farewell gift to her. Having known her since I joined the choir in 2014, it was difficult saying goodbye to her. She is moving from a city with a population of 320k to a very small town with a population of around 210. I don't have her house address, so I had placed the order online through their website and had it arranged to be picked up about a week in advance. They have so many flowers and gifts available, but I easily settled on fresh field flowers in white. I scheduled the pickup for 12/13/25 at 3:00pm, which was the main cutoff time for pickup orders - I wanted to get these picked up as close to my concert's call time as possible, which was 5:30pm. When I got there, they were ready in an instant. The lady that helped me out put the flowers in a cardboard box and wrapped it with orange wrapping paper for easy transportation. I noticed that there were a few fake flowers hiding behind the real flowers as well, but they differed from the real flowers. I decided to wait until after the concert to give them to her, and I was lucky that she was running late that night and found a perfect hiding spot for them in our green room. Most people in my choir gave her cards and small gifts, so basically I was the only one that gave her flowers, and she loved them! According to her, she doesn't have a green thumb and does have difficulty keeping plants alive for a long period of time, especially in a dry climate. But I like to think that they'll live for at least a couple of months. Thank you Tiger Lily for providing me with this special gift for an unforgettable occasion. I placed the order and quickly received a call and email to obtain the security code for my credit card in order to proceed with my order for a confirmed delivery between 11-2pm the following day. The next day while awaiting a text from my friend about receiving the beautiful birthday arrangement, 2pm came and went without the flowers being delivered. At approximately 5pm they attempted to deliver the arrangement to my home address vs the recipients address. Upon speaking with the delivery person I noted that the arrangement was a far cry from what was shown on their website in addition to the roses being visibly wilted. The delivery person left and stated she would deliver to the correct address. I later received a phone call stating that she was told my friend did not live at the residence however after confirming the address it appears she had once again attempted to deliver at the incorrect residence. She stated she would call back but never did so which led me to email the business. I composed an email late Friday evening to confirm delivery and to express my concerns with the appearance of the bouquet and quality of the flowers contained. Saturday afternoon I received a reply from Bella, I assume the owner, confirming delivery. She offered apology for the error in delivery and offered explanation that they have the "ability to be a little creative" and that the flowers may have been wilted due to it being 115 outside that day. While I want to be understanding, as a business, the climate is something you need to be prepared for. I'm no florist but I do believe they typically use refrigerated trucks for delivery to avoid such issues. As a goodwill gesture, she offered a replacement bouquet at no charge to which I accepted yet 4 days later there has been no further communication from the business.
