I returned home after living out of state and needed to open an account at a local bank. I have…read moreheard great things about Montana Federal Credit Union, so I trusted what I was told and opened an account. It had been a nightmare ever since. They pull a hard pull credit, which took my score down 13 points! They have the rudest employees in all three branches and absolutely horrible customer service. From the person who rudely answers the phones to the Manager who opened my account, service is HORRIBLE. Their website and app has constant issues and is down more than it is up and working. You can't re-name your accounts, the account number provided is confusing, you can't make a mobile deposit for the first 90-days after opening an account. I regret ever opening an account here and it's a huge pain to change everything again and go to another bank. If you're considering opening an account here, save your time and money and go elsewhere!

We had an appointment at 1:00 2/12/21 and were assured we would have our taxes done at that time whether we sat in the office or dropped them off. This DID NOT HAPPEN again this year. In fact - when I stated they should have been completed at our appointment time, NOT MORE THAN 24 hours AFTER, JUDY said, just come get your taxes, I'm not doing them!!! Horrible service!! Absolutely HORRIBLE SERVICE!!! Stay as far away as possible from these folks! We had to find a new tax prep person this year as ours retired at the end of last season. My husband and I went in Feb. 13, had our taxes completed, were quoted $285. We needed to bring back one (1) receipt, (ended up being a $14 receipt) which we did that afternoon. I didn't hear back from them until April. They quoted us significantly different returns than they had while we were there. Had to redo them again to find the problem. We went in to pick them up tonight, yet another mistake, SO MANY signatures and they charged $13 more than they had quoted. An hour after I got home, I received yet another call from them... just returning a voice-mail. I had left 2 days prior. We'll be finding someone efficient and qualified next year. They were HORRIBLE!!!!!!!

So, I go in, visit with another "Master Tax Advisor". She admits it was their screw up and that she'll file a claim. In the meantime, I need to pay the $1500 and H&R Block should refund my money in about 6 weeks. It's been 4 weeks so I call to ensure that we are going to get the refund and lil miss "Master Tax Advisor" has not even filed a claim yet?!?!?! What in the actual fuck?! Have another appointment for next week and now I wait again to see IF they'll issue a refund and IF/WHEN they do, it'll be another 6-week wait. You all need to change the title of these people from Master Tax Advisors to Mediocre Tax Advisors. UPDATE: Just received in the mail from H&R Blockheads an income form for the money they had to REIMBURSE us because they screwed up our taxes. Lovely! (SMH)
