She quickly said we were going to start with the vehicle instead. So she switched to our vehicle papers. She told my husband and I, (we were new to MT at this time), that great falls is sue crazy. Then explained there are many accidents in Great Falls. So we purchased auto insurance. Way above the amount we wanted to spend. I mentioned being from Los Angeles, she said Great Falls, MT drivers are worse. After she re entered our home information she told us Allstate could not insure our home since it was built prior to a certain year. My husband and I felt we were stuck for six months with auto insurance when she knew Allstate could not cover us for our home. Considering the first thing my husband said was we wanted home and auto insurance with the same company. The agent did tell us she would contact us in three days with information about an insurance company who could cover us if she found one. Six days later no call. We went to a competitor. This new agent found a company to insure our home in two minutes while we sat in front of her desk. After we had home insurance for two days the Allstate agent called us with information to the same home insurer our new agent already found. Allstate even Penalized us for paying in cash or check. They repeatedly tried to force their website payment option upon us. We ended our auto insurance policy with Allstate six months later. We now have home and auto insurance with the agent who found our home insurance company. She actually talks to us even if it's not about insurance. It is nice to be with a new agent who treats us like people.
