All of the…read morepeople I talked there and where the paper work should go to had negative responses and all knew of her as this is an ongoing problem with them. The therapists I talked both inside and remote knew of this and could do nothing about. So I am asking the CEO of this place to fire this person and get rid of the sign in the lobby that gives them permission to act that way. This costed me even more money than it should have and could of cost me more jail time all because of wanting failure of this employee.

After my assessment I asked why I was still being recommended for group treatment and was told it was due to my charges. I completed group which did nothing for me and am now in "after care." I do not know if this type of therapy helps others and can only speak for myself -- I have mental health problems where alcohol was an occasional byproduct, but this group focuses solely on substance abuse. I have no urges for anything that will make me lose full control of my mind. I like my mind. Earlier while in the first group there were times where I could not connect via Zoom as I was not being let in. I called and left messages and used screenshots of my zoom meeting not connecting. It turned out a facilitator who had filled in for the regular one had neglected to document my attendance a day before and I was "kicked out," so I ended up having to start over. They apparently told my probation officer that I did not show up. They also seem unorganized as they will email you different links for different days and different times. I hate to give this review, most of these people are good, nice people. But I honestly believe this program is a scam for government funding which also explains why they don't seem to respond to bad reviews. Maybe some people who need this program do benefit from it, I don't know. I am seeing a therapist to help me better myself and to grow, someone that is interested in treating my actual problems. I gain nothing from Lakeside's program. But I will continue it as required. Note: If you are required to enter this program through probation or parole, they can report on anything you say. There is no confidentiality which should always be a standard when it comes to mental health.

These people are sadists and should be shut down for the way they carelessly and spitefully choose to dose or not dose according to the whims of a vengeful nurse and staff. These people are playing with patient's lives and it's only a matter of time before they are sued into oblivion. I want to sound a warning to anyone thinking of going to this place. It is a crock. They'll get you hooked and then play games with taking away treatment. Every day is a new nightmare here.

February 9th I lost my eye in an accident at work and found myself once again craving opiates and my doctors did nothing at all to help me get off of the pain killers. I came back to RCTC and I've been doing great since. To those people that say they are mistreated and abused by methadone clinic, my reply to you is be honest with yourself first and ask yourself, did I apply myself wholeheartedly? Did I really give the program all I had? I'm guessing if you are honest with yourself, your answer would be no. Please do not give negative input about addiction centers if you really aren't applying yourself to it 100 percent because other out here on these streets are depending on these clinics to live good lives and recover from this. Please don't be haters because you yourself failed at it. Support the fellow addicts in recovery and for god sake have faith in yourself and go back and give it your whole hearted attemp to beat this addiction and I promise you it will work!!! I've don't this twice and for the second time now, I'm in a much better spot in life due to Racine Comprehensive Treatment Center and it's councilors. Give recovery your whole heart and people will recognize it and they will help you win this battle. If you don't then just be honest to yourself and accept institutions or death as your future and stop saying negative things about good people and doctors that really do help and make a huge difference in people's lives! And if you are wondering, the answer is YES I pay out of pocket every week!! I don't have insurance and work comp has refused to pay and I STILL found the positive side and went forward with my recovery! This is MY life and no amount of money will stop me from being who I am or stop my recovery! This attitude is the reason I will survive this, and the reason I will stay in recovery for the rest of my life. Racine comprehensive treatment center is the best and only place in Racine,Wi to go to for help with addiction! They DO listen,and they DO HELP!! Once again, to those people suffering from addiction and the demons that come along with it, seek help here,and you will find it. Be honest with yourself and the staff and I promise you with in a week, you will feel the old you coming through and shining like you once did before and then you will be on your way to recovery!!! This can only be done by YOU!!!! YOU MUST fight for your life and you must place trust in yourself and the staff to be able to really recover and get the real YOU back!!! Dr. Ray is a phenomenal acupuncturist. I first met him when he was at In-Balance acupuncture, and will never go to a different acupuncturist again as long as Dr. Ray stays in business, so I have followed him to his scenic studio in Mt. Pleasant. 10/10 recommend!
