Bloomfield Surgery is a doctors clinic with a difference, it has an attached laser clinic. This clinic is renowned over the whole country for providing medical and cosmetic laser surgery. It is one of the best practices in the country and the doctors will give an honest diagnosis, this will either lead to a NHS referral or a private quote for the surgery you require. A friend of mine recently undertook laser surgery at Bloomfield clinic and described it as "faultless". She was really happy with everything that the surgery offered and was happy to have all the treatment dealt with on one site. This place provides a great alternative to NHS and has been around for ages. This is a professional practice and I cant help but give it a big five star rating for the service it provides. read more

Undoubtedly the worst run surgery I have ever encountered. On being notified to call I have been held on the telephone line for over twenty minutes while being told I am first in the queue. Eventually I gave up on that line as the phone was never answered by anyone. Going directly to reception in person does not help either as they just repeat the number to call and the time. I would add that after repeated attempts on another occasion to make a doctor's appointment, when I did eventually get to see Dr Katie Harper she was absolutely wonderful. Terribly badly run Doctors Surgery...reception staff forget important medical correspondence...I detected racism(i have a South African accent and hold both a UK and Irish passport) On one late afternoon appointment I was completely forgotten about..then just b4 closing a receptionist saw me and I was shoved in to see a different GP from my own, this GP was rude and clearly in a hurry to get home.I have also had to wait on the phone(mobile) for a time period that. cost me £9.75...just to make an appointment..my original GP Dr Andrew Motram was excellent,even he came to realise Bloomfield Surgery's severe lack of proffessionalism..he moved off to practice in Australia...I do not recommend this surgery to anyone. read more

I would have given no stars if I could. Awful awful place. 0844 number costs alot as they keep you on the phone waiting for over 8 minutes on average just to get unprofessional, snotty receptionist. Have done away with Monday and Friday morning open surgeries where you just go in and wait your turn. Also done away with early morning surgeries from 7 am. People who work for a living 9 -5 and commute to Belfast can't get early appointments, because of this you are expected to either die waiting or take a half day off work to see a doctor 3 weeks away. Calling for cancellations is now a joke too. You can't call up and inquire for the week, only a day to day basis, thus making the phone line issue even more dire. When I recently got an appt after almost 3 weeks of waiting I was told by a doctor there that I could only go about 1 thing. Fair enough, but I was describing symptoms of the same condition! Is it now 1 symptom rather than 1 ailment now?! Have not found a GP in this practice who will sit down and look at the bigger picture in relation to symptoms. To Bloomfield Surgery - have a rethink of your so called services as for people who work full time it is impossible to see a doctor now or even speak to one for advice calls because your reception staff are blocking this facility unless they are in a good mood that day. The early morning surgery should be reopened and only allowed to people who are of working age - many times before it was given to anyone, pensioners, jobless etc. read more
