My car was sparkly clean! The gentleman at the front was super friendly and nice. Great service, nice people, would highly recommend!

Not sure how they stay in business. Nor should they be. Their hours are never correct, you leave there with your car, dripping, dirt, and mud, and it scratches the paint. Just a horrible place. Can't wait for one of the big companies to come in and do car washes right. read more

I can't believe people don't like this place, took my new black SUV there after it rained and it got everything shining again, even the lower side panels which are all uneven. read more

I wonder if this place is actually trying to go out of business? When I told the attendant that I wanted the express service, he asked if I wanted my car cleaned or not. He went on to say that the basic service was just a rinse, and he couldn't guarantee that the car would be clean. I told him it was an odd marketing strategy to say that they provided a service which was not effective. He said he didn't like people coming back and b******* at him when the car was dirty, and that I couldn't get a refund if I bought the express wash. I would have left, except the drive locks you into exiting through the wash rack. read more

Horrible car wash. No water, doesn't clean. Always been horrible thought it might have changed

. horrible experience with that place just the worst.very rude attendant wouldn't spray car off asked to rewash car gave me hell...I'd give this place 0 stars don't waste your money.rude rude.and shouldn't be in business read more

The guy that they have working there now is a miserable person. And, he will make sure that you feel miserable if you have any interaction with him. I will never return to this auto wash again, despite it being very convenient. I paid the last time I was there for my wheels to be treated, because of a lot of dust and grease on them. He won't even walk around the car and sprays them from the back bumper. They were not clean. Today I asked him, in a overly kindly voice because of how he acts, to spray what looked like a flock of birds had thrown up on my door handle and window. he got really nasty with me and told me I didn't need to tell him how to do his job and not to point at debris on the car saying, "Don't point at things, I don't like it." I started saying how sorry I was and he ordered me to roll up my window. Literally made me cry. They don't wipe down the car, the machines missed things, it's just not worth it to be treated so disrespectfully. You've got other options. read more

The fucking guy YELLED at me for not putting my car "in neutral early enough", even through it was on neutral before it got on the track. Was my first time ever going through a car wash on my own and I can't believe the fucking employee screamed at a young customer trying their best instead of calmly explaining what to do. Also I paid extra for the better wash even though there wasn't any extra washing or soap done. The terribly rude employee working there needs to be fired. Looking at other reviews now I'm relieved other people feel the same way read more

The worst car wash i have been to... car is soaking wet when you leave . No reason to spend $1 here.

I should have looked at the reviews before I came here I guess.. the man up front was friendly, which is the only positive from this experience. I ended up getting up sold a better package, and I agreed to it, thinking my car could use a good wash. The problem was that my car came out with a filthy windshield and dirt still on the car! Not worth the $8 spent. read more

Don't go to the Bloomfield Auto Wash at Telegraph and Long Lake!!! The white male attendant was condescending, rude and offensive! I was going to get the $6 wash and I gave him $21 so he could give me $15 back. I was told if I got the least expensive wash I would have to have exact change or use a credit card. I said all I had was cash and he wouldn't accept that, so I said forget it then. I was trying to figure out how to exit when there were cars in line behind me and that when he became very rude and condescending. I've never been treated so poorly and disrespectful by anyone ever before. I will never give them my business again and they should fire this poor excuse for an employee representing them! read more

Worst car wash I've ever been to. This last and final time I went, I heard a loud noise at the back window of my car while in the car wash. Sure enough, a piece of the rear windshield broke when a dryer pulled it back and bent it. $120 worth of damage. My car always drips soapy water all over, and since the have no one drying, it just splashed all over the car as you drive away. I would give it 0 out of 5 stars if I could. read more

If I could give less than one star, I would. They are so very rude! I realized as I was entering the car wash that I'd forgotten to remove my magnets. I didn't want them to get caught in their car wash, so I let him know, and he said "I'll get them this time, but it's not my job to do this"...well okay big rude man, it won't happen again because I won't be back. read more

I think this place is awful, they just want to get as many vehicles through as quickly as possible. They use to scrub the front and back to give you a decently clean vehicle, now they just pour water and soap over it and hope for the best. read more

Oh my goodness, the rudest staff. They refused to rinse off the step leading up to my SUV which was the reason I was there. Even offered to pay extra. The man said "no, we have a line to the street" actually there was 1 car waiting behind me. I felt ripped off. When I exited the car wash there was no one in line. Just did not want to wash my car. Save your self the time and money and wash your own car or travel down the road 5 min to Jax. They always do a great job and willing to help. read more

Have you ever tried to submit a zero star review? Why is that not possible? Too bad all car washers don't use Yelp before driving their $30,000 car through a car wash. They would definitely turn around and drive against traffic to get out of this place. First, when I drove up and asked for $5 car wash ($4 is the cheaper one), they said that I have to pay an extra dollar for the mud on the car! Are you serious? Should I come to the car wash with a clean car so I don't get a surcharge? The service is terrible. They treat you like they are doing you a favor rather than earning your business. The guy was more focused on his mobile phone than taking care of customers. I tried to like the place since I live less than a mile away and they do a lot of fundraisers for school groups. Based on the experience I had, maybe they're scamming the kids and not giving them much of a cut. Maybe they would have no customers if it weren't for the kids waving the signs in front of the car wash. Either way, it doesn't matter. TURN AROUND. DON'T GO! read more

Awful! Very rude and cashier doesn't even do his job. Wouldn't take quarters and didn't spray windshield or even use the hose.

This car wash is okay. That's it. I rarely have a stellar rating for washes like these before I get out of my car afterword's and there's water spots, soap residue or dirt that only handwashing can remove. If you need a quick rinse to remove salt, pollen or every day dirt this will do alright. If you want to shine up your baby to make it look new and drive around the president, you should spring for a detail place or just wash it at home. I don't recommend paying for all the extras they try to sell you here. Pay the minimum, and go. read more

This was the worst car wash I've ever had. They didn't even spray off the running panels. When questioned they said oh we don't do that on our washes. Nobody answered the phone when I attempted to call the manager or owner. I will never return to this car wash. I would've given it no stars if that was an option. read more

It's actually a decent wash for cheap but the guys who work there are not nice or polite. I've been there more than one time where they are yelling at the customers to pull up or move over. I would go there for a fairly decent quick cleanup but I won't go there again because I don't need to be treated that way. read more

Rude owner yelled at me for pulling in without waiting several feet behind. I have a long truck and understand how to align it in a tight turn. I was not aggressive nor impatient. I simply entered the car wash too far. The disrespectful owner literally yelled at me and told to obey the rules. Then he asked me to back out and leave. Pardon me, but this guy was such an asshole. Next tornado that hits Long Lake and Telegraph, should land squarely on this business. read more

5 bucks for water, basically no soap. Don't even spray or brush your car unless you pay 7 bucks. No towel dry. Use your hose at home for 30 seconds and it's more effective. **UPDATE** I was in a pinch and took my car here the other day, simply to remove the salt and general filth from a standard, Michigan winter. I asked for the standard wash, and there were no cars behind me in line. The operator did not use their "spray gun" to remove any of the snow surrounding my wheels, or excess dirt...that comes with the $7.00 wash. Pulling out upon completion, and noticing the snow was barely removed and my car pretty much still filthy, I drove off with a huge SUCKER tag draped across my forehead. NEVER-AGAIN! read more

I'm guessing the giant man child with an attitude problem everyone describes in the reviews must be the owner. I can't imagine any other reason why someone who is so rude, and possibly mentally unstable, would have continued employment here. Allow me to describe my experience there this morning...When I pulled up, the attendant was standing right at the entrance of the car wash counting a big wad of cash. I stopped short of the track, assuming he would either acknowledge me in some way, wave me forward, or walk three steps back to my car to take my money. He did neither of those three things. Instead, he returned to the building and sat down inside for several minutes, still not acknowledging my existence. I was stuck, as there is no way to leave now unless you go through the car wash because someone was behind me. After 2-3 minutes pass, he sticks his head out the door and angrily asks "can I help you?" Uhhh yeah, I'd like a car wash! He then proceeds to take my money without saying another word and walks away. I'm guessing his attitude was related to the fact that I didn't instantly pull up to him and onto the tracks upon arriving. That's literally the only possible thing I can think of that would have provoked his childish behavior. Seriously, this guy has a screw loose. I wouldn't return to this car wash if someone paid me! Karma really is a B... read more

This place is weak. The "manager" of the Bloomfield Auto Wash, Dominic insulted me, swore at me and threatened me because I questioned the $1 up charge for an SUV. That kid is lucky I didn't have time to get out of my car and show him how to respect his customers. Not only will I never go back to this place...but I will spread the word about their bogusness. read more

The reviews are right on. If I could give them 0 stars I would!!! I pulled up in a truck and I wasn't sure if it would fit.....I asked the employee and he gets really pissed and tells me no then proceeds to throw the cones around the parking lot so I can turn around. It was very rude and very unprofessional!!! The best part is he makes a rude comment to the car behind me so I mentally give him the finger and go on about my business. read more

^^^AVIOD THIS CAR WASH ON THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF TELEGRAPH AND LONG LAKE^^^ If I could give this business zero stars I would!!! I just returned from the wash without a washed car, however I paid $8 for a wash. Today, November 15th, 2019 at 8:28pm, I pulled into the wash with my teenage son to get his car washed. At first the young man Dylan with long'ish wavy sandy blond hair and a red coat was nice and seemed very attentive. After he took time to wash down the exterior he hits the buttons to start the wash and he then informs me the mechanism is not working "It's been going out all day" and I need to leave. I say "Oh really, wow, okay can I get my money back" to which he replies "I can't give you one, last time I did my boss nearly fired me" after going back and forth for a couple minutes and I asked him why he doesn't have anyone he can call for an emergency (his manager or the owner) his reply "I don't have a way to contact them" so I ask him if he can leave a note for the manager tomorrow morning explaining what happened, and he says he cannot, "no paper" and he tells me tomorrow he is not working "my only day off" he then tell me he's not working Sunday too.....To which I reply "You just said tomorrow (Saturday) is was your only day off, I'm sorry but are I'm having a difficult time trusting what your saying?" He then gets extremely belligerent, and tells me he's been there all day without heat and I need get out of here and back out and leave immediately AND that he did an initial wash which isn't even required to do at the car wash.... This seems sketchy to me and I don't trust this car wash any longer or this particular employee. I will call the wash first thing in the morning to discuss this with the manager Brandon. What a horrible way to run a business. Thinking back, I really do get a weird vibe from this exchange so I called my amex to dispute the charge, they don't see the charge yet which they said it should show immediately, so again a red flag....he swiped the card I assume caused I signed the hand held device, so now I've frozen my card and will most likely request a new card and account number. read more

New management Oct 2019. Great service. Convenient location. Clean car every time! Appreciate attention to detail and great prices.

The worst service EVER!!!!! The attendant was verbally abusive to me and possibly caused damage to my car by starting the wash while I was trying to talk to him. They REFUSED to spray the caked on mud off of my car and then he screamed at me that I needed to take it up with my Congressman along with various other obscenities. I filed a Police Report and will be taking my car into the dealership ASAP!!! I would highly suggest avoiding this Car Wash and this volatile child like man that works there. read more

Very bad service. What a ripoff to charge an extra dollar just for a minivan. As if it's much bigger than a 4 door sedan. The worst part, though? The service. Rude, no pre-wash spray, no towel dry, dirty water. read more

This car wash gave me the absolute worst consuming experience of my life. Upon entry, I was informed that I would have to pay an extra dollar due to the fact that my car was 1 inch over 60", despite the fact that they advertise a 3$ car wash. Not only that, but the guy collecting the cash was one of the biggest jerks I have ever encountered at a car wash, with snarky remarks and smartass comments. If you want a mediocre car wash with a side of cruelty, this is your place! read more

If you want your windshield to have a scratch from top to bottom and your rear wiper ripped off your car, this is the place to go! Truly! Spoke with the manager and he said to get an estimate and they would "try to help". I have visited many times only to get the run around, empty promises to talk with the owner, and have basically been ignored for $750 worth of damage. Looks like an attorney is the next step. Stay far far away from this terrible establishment! read more

Paid $8.00 for a carwash. It was a young guy wearing a backward baseball hat , maybe 18 yrs. old working. He was very pleasant and friendly and smiley. I took for granted that my car would be clean. After running errands in the plaza next door I inspected my car and discovered bugs covering my bumper and a few spots that didnt get cleaned. I drove back to carwash and the sane kid was there. He was not as happy and friendly this time around. I said "Hi I was here an hour ago and my bumper is covered in bugs." He said" Yeah I remember you. I asked you if you wanted the bug and tar spray and you said no." I said "No, you didnt ask me and I didnt think I needed it." He said " Yeah I did ask you and you said No." I said "I think you must have me mixed up with someone else because you didnt ask me if I wanted it." He said " Yes I did ask you because I remember you because I thought you were pretty." I said " No you have me mixed up with someone else. I didnt even know there was such a thing and I thought pre-spraying would help. I noticed you didnt really pre-spray my car." He says " Yes I did! I sprayed the sides, the front and the top." I said " No you really didnt. Anyways, if I pay the $2.00 will it get the bugs off ?" So I go through the carwash paying a total of $10. I was so upset I didnt bother to inspect my car. I get home and there are still bugs stuck on my bumper! I totally feel violated by some punk kid arguing with me about what he did and did not do! And telling a customer who is old enough to be his mother that he remebered me because of the way I looked! Never again will I go there. July 11, 2019 7p.m. read more

Similar experience to the other reviews. Today I asked that I not be hounded to upgrade my $3 ($4 for my truck) wash to a $6 or $7 wash. I came across this Yelp listing when I went online to see if I could call the management to tell them how rude the attendant was when I was there on Sept 16 at 4:15 pm. I was going to first ask whoever answered the phone if the attendant was handicapped or unable to speak. If he was then I would have felt better in knowing that he was physically unable to say any words during our transaction. Based on all the other Yelp reviews I think it is safe to say that he was just downright rude. I noticed that he was the same way with the person in front of me and also the person behind me. He never picked up the spray hose to pre-wash my car or the cars in front and behind me. As a business owner I thought I would be doing the management a favor by letting them know who is representing them. Based on the multiple poor reviews dating back several years I think the management is well aware of the situation and cares not to change it. I too will never go back. read more

**NEVER GOING BACK** All I wanted was a basic wash to get some of the salt off my car. I'm new to the area and this car wash is on my way home from work so I decided to give it a try. Again, I just wanted to clean off some of the road salt so I didn't have high expectations. I'm aware that sometimes discount car washes don't take credit card and I didn't have any cash on me so before I pulled in I actually stopped next door at the Kroger to get a closer look at the sign to make sure it didn't say anything about being cash only. I looked thoroughly and there was no such notice. However, when I pulled to the back I saw their larger menu sign and it stated cash or check only. Well this is a little late notice as now I'm behind the building with another car behind me and their property is curbed off so there's no service drive or any other way if exiting other than going through the wash or reversing the whole way back around and not only did I not want to do that but there was another car behind me. The attendant rudely gestured at me to wait where I am as I tried to look for a way to leave. When it was my turn I apologized and said that I didn't have any cash and just wanted a way to get out of their lot. The attendant sighed as if he was annoyed and told the told me its cash only. I get that now. He left without saying anything else and went into the office and then came back out with a little pad of paper for me to give him my information and said he was gonna let me slide this time, but next time I have to bring cash. He acted like its common knowledge. ITS NOT WRITTEN ANYWHERE OUT FRONT, ONLY OUT BACK WHERE WHEN TOU FIND OUT ITS TOO LATE. I'm new to the area I had no idea how poorly he runs his business and I didn't appreciate being treated like it's my fault. I don't mind paying a few bucks for a car wash at all I just didn't have any cash on me and that's why I looked for a sign before driving around. It's too late by the time you find out and if that's how you do things it's pretty stupid for getting mad at customers for finding out after the point of no return! I've been to many car washes, I've worked at a car wash, I've never seen one without a service drive or some way of exiting the property without going through the line. After all that it was a really low quality wash and did little to nothing to remove road salt from my car. I don't appreciate the attendants rude reminder to bring cash next time and act like he's doing me a favor, and I'm never coming back. read more

I would give this car wash a negative rating!!! If I knew the owners phone number I would definitely file a complaint. I have never in my life been treated more poorly than at this car wash. The operator was screaming at me because I was on my phone even though I was directly behind the car in front of me and on the track. There was no one behind me and the place was empty. This guy should not be anywhere there is interaction with customers. I will never go back and will tell all my friends. I have been going here for over 10 yrs. Done!!!! read more
