It means so much to me to be looked after the way they are helping me!! I guess the care I was seeking was just some compassion and I sure found i!. I just was seeking information and they were more than helpful.

My dad has a hard time seeing due to cataracts, GCA - Giant cell arteritis in his left and a possible stroke in his right causing partial blindness. My mom didn't want my dad to have cataract surgery fearing he would lose his eyesight completely, nor did she ever continue medical insurance to our dismay. So he suffered for many years not being able to see as clearly as he could, yet he continued to work and finally retired at the age of 84! After I got dad back on track insurance wise, we immediately started making his eyes a priority. After several eye exams with his ophthalmologist, there was a concern that because of his GCA, cataract surgery may not be helpful. But after having a family meeting, we all agreed to proceed with his surgery. My nephew and his wife are both doctors and their input gave us hope that at the very least, he would see a little better. My dad was scheduled to have his eye surgery at this facility, and we couldn't be happier and confident that we made the right decision. The doctors: Hui, MD & Zhao, MD, nurses and staff members took great care of my dad from beginning of his visit to end. He was nervous, but they kept him comfortable during the whole procedure. Dad could see almost perfectly on the first day, and was so happy! But after having to use eyedrops consistently and frequently, he was a little depressed that everyday he had blurry vision. We had to keep him encouraged to continue his treatments in order to heal. Finally, after a few weeks, he was starting to see better day by day. He will still need to get fitted for new glasses, which he is looking forward to. The staff even sent my dad a very nice card with signatures of the medical team who assisted in his procedure. We are so happy with Kaiser Medical Center of Rancho Cordova for treating my dad with concern and kindness. Thank you so much!

Went to urgent care for a minor check up today. The office is very clean and beautifully decorated…read more Just open space with a good amount of rooms that are large and felt sanitary. The wait is usually not as long I feel like because I've been here before but today was a bit longer than usual. I still prefer coming here for quicker service than other place or hospitals that takes hours.

My partner had to stay here a couple of days post surgery. The staff was all very friendly and…read morepolite. The common areas such as the hallways and public bathrooms were all very clean and appear to have been recently remodeled. The rooms themselves are very dated. The wallpaper behind the beds was peeling everywhere. The room doesn't have any chair for guests to sit on. Luckily someone brought me a chair when they saw me standing and looking around when they walked by. My partner is a vegetarian and said there were very little options for her. She was given a grilled cheese sandwich for both lunch and dinner on the same day. Definitely needs some improvement if you are going to stay here for any long period of time. After 2 days, my partner was ready for me to break her out of the place. But again, all of staff was super friendly.

I was at Casa Coloma a couple of years ago and asked to be placed back there again. Luckily, they were able to accommodate me. The staff there are very responsive, caring, professional, and kind. They were always very pleasant and friendly, which is amazing to me considering the verbal abuse they are subjected to by people who do not want to be there. Whenever interacting with me, they always made me feel like I was their only patient. Whenever passing a staff member in the hall, I was aways greeted with a smile. Tanner, the Administrator, made himself very available to the patients, and seemed to know everyone's name which I felt was very impressive, considering the number of patients they had. I want to thank everyone there for the great care I received. I especially want to thank Meron, Maria, Cristina, CJ, and Brittany. They were some of my CNA's and nurses. They made my stay there very comfortable. A special thank you Marcy and Rachel who are 2 of the physical therapists I worked with. They were both very patient and extremely kind and caring to everyone. They were successful in getting everyone to move, even the ones that didn't want to. They made group therapy very fun and I, actually, looked forward to it. If you, or a loved one needs to be placed in a facility like this, I would highly recommend Casa Coloma.

Doctor never came for 9:30am appointment, and after waiting a full hour, I finally went to desk. They said doctor hadn't arrived. Doctor emergencies I can fully understand and accommodate. But I asked... so nobody sitting here at the desk, knowing the doctor wasn't there, thought to inform somebody waiting for him, he was delayed, or how appointments were going to be handled? [I was the only one in the waiting room most of the time] All I got was a shoulder shrug. So I told them not to charge me for an appointment, since I fulfilled by end of the contract by being there on time and waiting an hour, and I left. I know zero about the actual medical care there, but if the desk is an indicator, I don't want to find out. Patient service used to be the basic aspect of their job... obviously not anymore... as I give a shoulder shrug. We'll stick with urgent care from now on... the service is MUCH better.

Next thing you know we were waiting for one hour and half. So disappointed with this place. My mom was very ill and waiting didn't help. After that they told us to go to cvs to get our medication and to find out that location was close already. We double checked with her if she is sure that it's 24 hours PHaRMaCy and she said yes. tHe STOre is 24 hours not the pharmacy!. Anyways we have to go 30 mins away to get to another location to get my moms meds since most store are close early since it's Sunday that night..... though the nurse was nice. I don't think we will ever go back here. From what we experience it's a no go.
