Seriously, I tried to swing through a different place and the wait was crazy long and I pulled out of line before I even ordered. There were only 2 cars, but i waited 7 minutes and never got close to ordering. The next day I was in Palmer and jumped in the line at Elwoods. There were 7 cars and I was able to order, get food and drinks, pay and be on my merry way in 8 minutes! Those girls were on fire! It was awesome! I'm so grateful we have this place in our community, they really are the best!

Cold Stone in Wasilla is our go to ice cream treat. The ice cream is great and the selection of…read moreoptions allow you to create your hearts desire. U select the flavors, cup or waffle cones and add-ons or you can choose one of the many combinations that they have posted on the walls. Each month they have at least two special flavors with ingredients to choose from. They have a showcase with 12 different flavors and you can select one or more flavors or the listed combinations. The ice cream is rich, creamy and firm when served but be careful as it melts very fast. I have never seen ice cream that melted that fast except in burning hot climates. If you're picking them up to take home be sure to have a container to put them in unless you like to wear the ice cream. Even the cups with plastic lids will leak. The service varies by the amount of customers standing inline. The servers are always friendly and as efficient as possible. There is limited seating available so most is choose and carry or home delivery. Never have we tried home delivery because I am little Leary of the melt factor and time to deliver. They have a small selection of ice cream cakes, cup cakes and frozen treats in a glass refrigerator in front. I have had their cakes, cupcakes and some of the treats. They are very good but pricy. You pay for the work the staff has to do to make them. They have a loyalty program that you earn points and discounts on your purchase price. If you patronize them and sign up for text messages it can be very worthwhile. Parking is not a problem usually and it is free in shopping center lot. I highly recommend Cold Stone for the quality and price of their products and services. They accept card cards, cash and have a single bathroom used by all customers.

Delicious, authentic Mexican food! I had the lamb birria, and it absolutely did not disappoint…read more Most places make birria with beef--typically chuck roast or beef shank--but traditionally, birria is made with lamb or goat. So when I saw lamb birria on the menu, I had to try it. The tacos had a generous amount of tender, flavorful meat, and the consommé was rich and delicious. I especially appreciated that the tortillas had a light crisp to them, so they held together instead of falling apart when dipped into the consommé. The refried beans topped with cheese were creamy and perfectly seasoned. They also have a salsa bar with plenty of options, ranging from mild to very spicy, so there's something for every level of heat tolerance. Overall, this was a fantastic meal and exactly the kind of authentic Mexican food I look for when traveling. I would absolutely go back!
