After having such an incredible experience with Sam, I inquired with her if she would be able to do makeup/glam class for me, my sister, and mom who were in town visiting. Once again, Sam did not disappoint! Initially we provided pictures of our current makeup, pictures of us, and Sam did the rest. She was able to curate a makeup shopping list for us- which we would use in the class. (Day of) She went through an extremely detailed (but easy to use) step by step booklet (which we go to keep for reference of the notes we took!), followed by doing my mothers makeup using the modular steps provided and showing us how to do everything- and why! Once my mother (the model) was done, my sister and I went step by step through all while Sam coached us and corrected or suggested different techniques! Not only is Sam kind, super fun, and spunky, she is also such a patient teacher and skilled artist!!!! My sister is also special needs- which sometimes results in learning to take a little longer, but SAM WAS A PRO!!!! I just can't see the fine hairs. The girl didn't listen and globbed wax on top bottom , trimmed the side cause she said afterwards they were long. thin horrible it's gonna take forever to grow back. 2nd time my hair was past my shoulders, I wanted an inverted bob. I showed pictures long in the front we agreed shoulder blade length And short layering in the back. I told him I have a cowlick in the front and one at my hairline in the back so maybe cropped would better. He stated he's been cutting hair for years. Well ok then. first thing he did was stretch my bang at my shoulder blade and cut. Of course it bounced up a half inch or so. Red Flag! Cut cut shorter shorter. i even told him about the last time I asked someone for an inverted bob and I specified No step! I got a regular straight across And I left crying . I want to hide my double chin. End result was not an inverted bob like I asked but and regular bob cut chin length slightly shorter in the back with my cowlick flipping up no matter how I try to flatten it. Won't be going back
