I'm not one for yelp reviews or complaints but this sent me over the edge. I've been going to Dr…read more Gorman for less than a year now, when I first went to them I was told I was covered by my insurance company and that my co pay would be $20 per visit. After telling me I needed multiple visits a week to get "on track" to feeling better, they then tell me I'm no longer covered anymore because I'm only allowed 22 visits a year and my visits will now be $65 a visit. As unhappy as I was to hear about this, I still scheduled appointments with the office. Only until today 7/14/23, I explained to the receptionist how I would not be scheduling any more appointments ahead of time and I would like to instead call and schedule appointments if and when I needed them. Everything was fine and good until the end of my appointment their doctor aggressively questioned me about my "money issues" that the receptionist was telling her about and why I wasn't scheduling appointments anymore. I found it very unprofessional for anyone, let alone the doctor adjusting me, to make claims of a patient having "money issues". I will NEVER be back.

I'm a huge baby and it is such an easy and painless process - I absolutely love it and am so happy with the way it has turned out. Plus Dr. Lori is great to chat with so it makes it go fast :) Now they have actually moved to a beautiful new location on State Street in Newtown, makes for an even better experience! Next I moved on to trying botox injections with Dr. Lori and I am absolutely obsessed. I had wrinkles on my forehead that absolutely drove me crazy. Dr. Lori was great about giving me enough to smooth out the creases and look great without overdoing it and keeping it natural looking. I will definitely be getting these again once they wear off. The pricing here is great too! The newest thing that I have tried at Refresh Wellness is their 12 week weight loss program with Shawn. I was told that on average, participants lose 25 lbs -which to be honest when I first heard it all I could think of was - bullshit. Howeverrrr, I'm only 2 weeks in but I'm inclined to believe it's the real deal! Shawn outlines what you should be eating and how you can change your lifestyle to lose weight and keep it off. I have to admit that I have tried every diet under the sun in the past two years as well as all kinds of crazy exercise regimens that have had zero impact on my weight loss efforts. I followed Shawn's directions and as promised, the weight has been melting off. Thus far I have lost 8 lbs total (4 lbs per week!) and I have been so crazy at work and traveling across the country every week for work that I haven't had time to workout. This diet is the easiest thing I've ever done and the weight is coming off. I urge anyone who is having a hard time losing weight to try this - it has honestly made such a difference to me and I am so grateful to Shawn and Lori! :)
