It's modern but comfy and everyone has a good attitude and seems to enjoy their jobs! The products they use are amazing and not just one line, like some salons. My daughter recommended Stephanie Nollar to me about 15 years ago. I have followed her since. She is great at transforming my ashy dull dark blonde hair (with a little gray) into a beautiful natural looking blonde with highlights & lowlights. She did an amazing job fixing my hair when it turned orange after I foolishly tried to color it myself. Lesson learned. Only Stephanie at Bliss can color & cut my hair. She is easy to talk to & has a great personality too. I highly recommend her. read more

Is this a review for the salon or my stylist? Actually both. I just started coming here within the last 8 months or so when my stylist moved here. And honestly I'd follow her anywhere. She does an awesome job with short hair - and I'm sure with any other styles, but she really gets short hair. If you're shopping for a new stylist, stop in and ask for Sarah C! The salon is laid out well, is always clean, has lots of products for sale, as well as cute hair and nail accessories. I made an appointment to get a mani/pedi my first time at Bliss. I loved it, Terry my new nail lady was awesome and experienced. I have been going to a salon that has many chairs in one room with the manicurist not speaking English but rather their native language, which makes the patrons feel uncomfortable and wondering if they are talking about me??? I was Tired of paying for someone to be rude even though my lady was good!! For the same price I got privacy and a great mani/pedi and a nice lady that could speak to me. The stylists are very competant and I've always been happy with my hair. However they will not honor discounts that they advertise. When I made my appointment they had advertised that if you buy 80 dollars in Bliss bucks that you would recieve 20 in Bliss bucks. Well they had to reschedule my appointment and told me that that discount expired. So looking at the brochure they had in the lobby it said write a favorable review on Facebook yelp ect and recieve 20 percent off. I asked about that promotion and they said only on my next visit because I hadnt written the review and had already checked out. I have followed the owner for years and am under an extemely tight budget so this discount actaully means the difference on how much money I have to live on for the rest of the week. I have promoted this business to friends and friends of friends. The least they could do is honor the discount they advertised Yes and I think 135.00 is pricey to begin with. I was told because I dont come in often enough that they have to use more product and take more time on me so I am charged more than the norm We all have choices to make and mine will be to find another hair salon that can do the job just as well and maybe care about their customers more. I followed my color artist to this salon--my loyalty belongs to Claudia and I'd follow her to any city/salon. She is up-to-date on new styles, colors and cuts. The salon uses premium product for coloring. I used the make-up services for my wedding and some other stylists to assist with the party hair/make up. We looked like a million bucks! I am new to Plymouth from Ohio. I had been going to my stylist back home for 15 years, at least! Being unable to drive the 3 hours + it takes to get back there, I was extremely apprehensive about trying someone new. I have short, thin hair. I have had difficulty in the past finding someone who "gets" it. I admit, I can be picky about the color. Both high and low lights, which I like because it gives me some depth. After reading another review from a fellow short hair gal (thanks Deb!), I called for an appointment. I asked the very nice receptionist for a stylist who can do short hair. I was given an appointment with Sarah. The same stylist mentioned by Deb. This was a wee bit sneaky on my part; I wanted to see who he would recommend. I felt wonderful hearing him say her name. I thought I was being put in good hands. Let me tell you fellow short haired lassies, this IS the girl to see!!! She was wonderful!! She was mega nice, the salon was cool, very clean, and staff was uber friendly! I was super happy with my hair when Sarah was done. I will DEFINITELY be going back. I highly recommend both the salon, and the lovely Sarah C. to anyone, short hair or otherwise!! read more

I had my hair one step colored and I thought it was a bit pricey at $75. For that price my hair was blown out and I received a really good head massage!! Cute salon and a good location. The staff is always very friendly and quick to check you in at the front desk. They have lots of products for sale. There is complimentary coffee and tea in the waiting area and a coat rack in the main hallway. Plenty of magazines as well. Walking through the main hallway to get to the large hair space, there are a few smaller rooms on the side that I believe are for their other services like nails, wax, etc. The hair space has a cute set up for each stylists station. The ones on the side have a hook or a counter to put your purse. The stations in the middle have less space but there is still a ledge for your belongings. I've seen men and women of all ages in here for hair services. Middle aged men, old ladies, twenty somethings, 14 year old boys, 30 somethings, teenage girls, etc. The service quality really depends on your specific stylist though. It is a nice salon and I do enjoy it but my loyalty is more with a hair stylist than a salon. As for the price, I pay $120 for cut and color. read more

I love Bliss! The stylists are amazing (Lisa in particular), and the salon is a very welcoming, relaxed environment. Everyone from the receptionists to the apprentices who shampoo you to the technicians themselves are so friendly, and will always take the time to chat with you. You can easily have a conversation with any person in the salon at any time. They do fantastic work; Lisa only hires the best. And she absolutely requires that her entire staff remain professional at all times. I have been to salons where the stylists talk nasty to me about their colleagues the entire time they work on my hair, or worse, they ignore me as much as they possibly can while still working on my hair so they can talk to the other stylists the entire time. There is none of that at Bliss. It's a great experience from start to finish, and you come out looking beautiful every time. Highly recommend. read more
