I will keep this short and sweet. Do NOT use this service. I worked with one of their agents and after a great kickoff call, it turned bad. I was given multiple options and told I should tell them what I like and dislike about each. After going back and forth multiple times (even finding my own options) we settled on a spot that was perfect. It was a few grand over my budget (which was already pretty large) and I was skeptical. I did my own research and found the exact trip for lower. After expressing my concerns to the owner, i was met with a nasty email, in my opinion, and after being extremely dissatisfied, I went to right a review. It was crazy to me that I had such a bad experience, yet they only have 4-5 star reviews. After writing a review from my opinion, I received a bullying email from the owner that said " You made a serious accusation against one of our agents that in many companies would have resulted in their termination. We asked for documentation that you've refused to provide. The review that you've posted about our company is blatantly untrue. If you have not removed, it within the next 30 minutes the next correspondence you'll receive will be from my attorney. Making a false review is not something you're permitted to do. It is, in fact, worse than what you're accusing Erica of doing. I am not going to debate this with you. I have taken a screenshot and forward it to our attorney." I was simply stating how I felt, however the owner took this and became very aggressive. I now understand why the reviews did not match up to my own experience. read more

So my (now) husband and I were planning our honeymoon. With the Internet and travel sites and our beloved Yelp, we figured we didn't need a travel agent's help. We knew where we wanted to go so it was just a matter of Googling to find a resort that was just perfect for us. Weeks turned into months and we were spinning our wheels. There is SO much information about honeymoon resorts out there, most of which is conflicting and unreliable. We turned to Bliss Honeymoons as they were recommended by another vendor of ours who had just planned her wedding and honeymoon. We met with Laura from Bliss Honeymoons and talked about our interests, time frame, ideal vacations and budget. From there, Laura researched and presented us with a Power Point of three possibilities. We reviewed and gave her feedback; she then would reply with edits based on our likes/dislikes and again presented us with a presentation of three options. In between she would answer all of our questions and provide us with a ton of guidance. After repeating this a few times (fine, I'm kind of particular) we were able to craft the honeymoon of our dreams. Reasons why I would recommend Bliss: 1.) they specialize in "romance travel" (think destination weddings, honeymoons and vow renewals), which is much different from a random weekend excursion or summer vacation. 2.) three options at a time is perfect - sufficient detail without being overwhelming. 3.) They offered us a honeymoon registry. Yes you can create a honeymoon registry somewhere else, but theirs was extremely helpful and user-friendly. 4.) Laura was responsive and honest. This was the biggest travel of our lives, so her insight was invaluable. 5.) Everything was so easy. We received a travel booklet with all of our vouchers and itineraries. I even emailed Laura in panic a few nights before our wedding since I thought I was missing something...I figured there was no way that traveling could be so simple. read more

I usually book all of our travel myself since we travel so often, but when looking at honeymoon destinations I quickly became overwhelmed. Lindsay with Bliss Honeymoons came to the rescue and helped us narrow down our options and find the resort that was a perfect match for us - all inclusive, same time zone, and lots of restaurant options. We worked with Lindsey from Bliss Honeymoon and her and the whole company was amazing! We booked everything tho them including resort, flights and excursions to St.Lucia. Lindsey gave us so many options for everything and continued to show us different resorts and options until we found what was best for us! We had to postpone our honeymoon from April to September due to Covid and Lindsey was on top of everything. She handled the whole process and keep us updated on everything making it so easy for us! We tried to use Bliss Honeymoons to plan our honeymoon but were completely unsatisfied with the services. I am now being threatened with a lawsuit over my review, and as Laura puts it, "my financial future at risk". I have been asked to remove reviews. I have been asked to reword reviews to comply with terms of service. I have even been asked to provide proof of my claims below and I've done it so that future clients have a idea of the type of business practices Bliss Honeymoons chooses to engage. Her service starts with a brief introduction phone call that goes over budget, preliminary ideas or destinations and few rules if I choose to work with her company and her fees. One of the rules that should have been an immediate red flag was she warned about reading reviews on travel review sites. She stated that sometimes those reviews are unverified or could be altered or faked by people or companies trying to manipulate ratings one way or another. Because of this, I had to rely solely on her recommendations and suggestions. I asked for pictures of rooms (specific things) and had to wait days for a response. I could have easily Googled images or looked on various travel review sites for an answer but again, she told me not to use those. When I asked for changes to dates or locations or try different combinations of things it was met with resistance and reminded me this would take an hour of her time to process any changes or estimates. This made getting quick answers difficult. I was led to believe I was a difficult client because I did not fit into their 99% of couples, and my requests for changes were unreasonable and time consuming. I will not apologize for not fitting inside the box most your other client do. I was reminded she has other client appointments or how much time she has already put into helping plan our honeymoon She continually sent the same canned powerpoint slide presentation over and over with a few extra slides added each time. This made keeping track of the resorts and packages impossible. I was presented with inaccurate information regarding travel time and airline flights to destinations including Fiji. In one email she told me it takes two days to get to Fiji. This is incorrect, as there is a direct flight from LAX to Nadi that would have worked with our schedule perfectly and only 3 hours longer than Tahiti. It should be noted, they resell vacations from various supplies and wholesalers. The prices she quoted aren't competitive or even in the same ball park as online travel sites or your local membership based warehouse's travel department. I thought I was working with a full service travel agency but was actually working with an impatient reseller. At one point Laura was frustrated enough with my requests for different scenarios, combinations and pictures she handed me off to another agent. This was the final straw, I was not going to start over with someone else again. Save your money, use your local membership based warehouse (they have a great travel department, well worth the price of a membership), they are more flexible and happy to run all sorts of combinations with you right on the phone. We would have never been able to stay 10 days in Bora Bora using the pricing from Bliss. read more

Laura at Bliss Honeymoons was absolutely wonderful! We were overwhelmed with all the choices we had for our honeymoon. Even knowing we wanted an all inclusive in Mexico, the choices seemed endless. We reached out to Laura and were instantly glad we did! After getting all our our "must haves" and our budget she presented us with a wonderful portfolio of options. From there we were able to do some independent research and pick our favorite! Laura then sent us all our important documents (which we promptly lost even though she told us they were very important). After realizing late Sunday afternoon, the day before we were to leave, that we had lost our travel documents Laura immediately went into action contacting all those involved and got us duplicates of our information. She was a life saver! Our Honeymoon was more than we could have asked for and we definitely got the VIP treatment thanks to all the upgrades that Laura got us! read more
