The installer worked neatly and was very patient in demonstrating the blinds. I highly recommend Home of the Blinds for its affordability, wide selection of products, easy maintenance, energy efficiency, and its excellent sales and installation staff.

I waited a while to post this review to see if the company would address my concerns. Since I…read morehaven't been getting any response since many months, I'd like to share my experience. I wouldn't recommend this company at all. I got zebra blinds installed in August of last year for my new home. 1) The company promised to install a free blind for the window in my garage. I had to follow up multiple times, and finally they came and installed it but it was too short for the window and also was a faux wood blind instead of zebra blind which was promised. He agreed to swap it but it has been 10 months since and I haven't been getting any response. 2) The zebra blinds were quite expensive and I paid a premium for them ($3800 for 10 blinds). We went with the recommendation from company during blind selection. I'm disappointed that these blinds don't block any light whatsoever coming in and are useless. The TV is unwatchable during day time due to all the glare and reflection coming in from windows. I had to spend a lot again to get curtains installed for whole house.

I hired Harry to do a small conference room at a law office. I have been in the construction…read moreindustry for 30 years. I gave Harry a 65% deposit to order. I spent weeks hounding Harry to install the blinds. He finally confirmed a specific day to install at 10 AM after approximately 8 weeks since ordered. The night before, Harry called my phone three times at 11:45 at night and left a message asking for access to get into the locked building so he could install. I was sleeping and did not answer. You can imagine my confusion, when I received the message. The next morning he did not show up as scheduled. I called him to find out what was going on. He told me that he got into a car accident the night before. I asked where my blinds were, and he claimed his car was impounded and they were in his car. It took another week or so for him to get the blinds out of his car and Uber to our building to install. Upon installing, Harry called me multiple times for immediate payment. I was not available to answer the phone. He never left a message or sent a final invoice. Harry decided to illegally enter the building and removed/ stole the installed blinds late last week. Again, I have not received a message, an invoice, a W9 or an insurance certificate from Harry and Josel. The owners of the property have since filed a police report due to his unauthorized access of the law office and unauthorized removal of their property. DO NOT HIRE! HARRY IS BAD NEW.

I've given the owner at least one month to fix the situation, but he has not responded or tried to fix his mistake. Very unsatisfied and regretful to order from 1-800-4-blinds! Buyer beware!

Review might change after consult but at this point I am not happy with this company and we haven't even met them yet.

I was trying to get my blinds in dining room fixed since early October, call after call, promised Thanksgiving then Christmas then..after numerous calls n messages they don't even know who I am in mid January. They had multiple blinds to fix. Early December they finally came to install, I paid in full for one installed blind the others had numerous incorrect parts so more delays. Began the weekly phone call, Ignored again. Finally mid Jan they have the parts. Now I can only call it as I felt but I was being blackmailed by a man named Dan. Never ever met him I don't even know his position. I do know He berated me over and over, demanding a made up $85 fee for a 2nd trip. It was their error they had to come back. I attempted to explain, but told to stop talking, he didn't care to listen, kept saying he knew everything. Confused and mad I refused the fee. He begins to ramble on in an anger attack, about me talking and then, blames us. Yes, we are the real problem. We didn't buy some verticals from them and he is furious . I guess he must be going broke. My small job is nothing . Months of calls delay, zero customer follow-up, now blackmail. They have my parts, they broke several clips and nothing good from this experience.

Service Requested = FAIL Quality = FAIL…read moreValue = AVERAGE (but see above) I wanted to buy local. Unfortunately my experience with Cabinetek has been very unsatisfactory. My order was fraught with mistakes and bad workmanship (from their supplier, Pioneer Cabinet). After specifying my requirements in adequate detail, the proposal was missing all detail including product, dimensions and finishes. I had to get it redone again to correct the terms of sale. Price was in line with other kitchen suppliers. The order was later than promised. I paid the entire invoice before opening the packaging...duh. I went to pick up my order but there were major flaws in the millwork and sawdust in the finish. The nice employees had given the hinges from my order to another customer whose order was deficient. They said the shop would bore the holes for the hinges, but alas they hadn't. So they blamed it on the supplier, Pioneer. You would think that a professional company that was customer oriented would be interested in insuring a quick turn-around to try to fix a bad situation. Not in this case. I wouldn't be writing this if I felt they were actually putting in a good effort to help me. It's like they got paid and have no interest in this. I would strongly recommend you avoid this company!

I took forever to decide on the color and Rich let me keep the samples as long as I needed and was never pushy about the process. Highly recommend!!
