I absolutely loved this cute spot. The room was clean The pool was amazing even had pool floaties and stuff outside with a gas grill and it even had a jetted area on one side. Being as sunburnt as i was that came in handyyy because i could not get into the jacuzzi tub with hot water. They have a very clean washer and dryer that worked very well. Priced very affordable. The only thing that could concern me but didn't affect me is the parking seems skimp so the weekends or very busy season it might be rough. I also didn't count them but it didn't seem like enough for the amount of rooms. Checking in was a breeze. I would definitely stay again if i come back to the area. It's also centered to the beaches so you can hit them all up. Freebee is a good app to get $3 per person rides up and down the beach because parking can get pricey especially if you want to see all of them. North Desoto beach was the clearest and $6 all day. The only thing i would hope that would be better next time is a new jetted tub and the second bathroom shower fixed higher or atleast a removable shower head. Other then that i very much enjoyed it.

I stayed two nights at Blind Pass Resort. It was not on the beach but it was clean and close to several restaurants and beaches. My favorite part was the courtyard where the pool was located. It was nice to sit on the pool deck in the morning before it got crowded and just reflect. The tiles were recently updated and it looked fresh, new and inviting. The double bedroom was spacious and decorated in an adorable beach theme. There was a small fridge, stovetop, microwave and toaster. Cable TV and free WiFi. The AC worked nicely. The window by the door rattled when my neighbors closed their door. That was the only downfall. I liked that it was all tile floors throughout since it was close to the beach. Easy to sweep up the sand. I would consider staying here again for a couple of nights while visiting the St. Pete and Treasure Island areas.

    Nice touch with the essenrials.

I think the negative reviews about this place, are mainly due to others comparing apples to oranges. I love staying at $450+ a night resorts and hotels where I never have to leave the premises. Blind Pass is not one of those places nor does it claim to be. I wanted a place to stay at a fair price while I visited and enjoyed the St. Pete area. I feel it is five stars for the value. The owners are super nice and very helpful with local reccomendations. The room is as clean as you think those luxury rooms are. If I could reccomend anything to the business it would be to have at least the indoor Daikin mini-split units be serviced. The filters in those should be cleaned as well as the coil. Same for the ice machine outside. Great place to stay for what I was looking for. You should consider it if you are not looking for grand luxury hotels and resorts for under $300 a night.

I am a frequent visitor of the Treasure Island area.. but I can truly say I'll make this my place to stay for all my future trips. Hotel management (Stacy) has been such a delight and so very attentive to any needs or local area advice. Housekeeping is the best I've ever encountered and friendly to boot! Our dogs have been welcomed with open arms made to feel as they are truly family.. the area is convenient to local shopping, restaurants and grocery stores.. also with a Walgreens at the corner. The resort is older but Stacy has been redoing each room with a super touch of true beach fashion and even dated, the rooms are clean, comfortable and feels like home. Each rental has a fridge of some size, two burner stove top, (no oven) but microwave and toaster available. If planning a trip to Treasure Island ... I highly recommend you treat yourself to a stay at Blind Pass Resort

Last week I had the pleasure of staying at this cute little hotel. Located on Blind Pass Road, its a five minute drive to either St Pete Beach or Treasure Island. With only 25 rooms, its the perfect quiet retreat from the hustle and bustle of the beaches. I don't need to worry about this, but if you want to bring Fido on your trip you can, this hotel is pet friendly! The pool area is nice and clean and has a waterfall! All of the rooms are super cute too. Each room is a little different (mine even had a fake fireplace!) All rooms have a mini fridge and microwave, and some have a fully functioning kitchen (stove, sink, plates, cups, silverware, coffee maker). There's even a laundry room if you need one. And the managers, Terry and Maureen are wonderful! They even have me a card for my birthday :) I will definitely be staying here again!

I would give this place zero stars if I could. My girlfriend and I booked a room here on March 30. (The room was booked under her name & credit card). We checked in to Room 14 around 2:30 pm and then left for the day because our friends were getting married at the Sirata. We got back to our room close to midnight, only to discover there was a german cockroach infestation. We noticed one or two BUGS at first, but then more kept appearing. I pulled back the mattress from the wall and there were even more (and that area probably hadn't been cleaned in a decade). At this point, I also stripped the mattress to check for bed bugs. We were definitely not going to be sleeping there and left. Luckily, our friends had booked a room at the Sirata with an extra bed, so we were able to crash there. The next morning, we came back to the motel to check out. We told the woman at the desk what happened and she seemed sympathetic. She first said, "please don't write us a bad review." She also went on to say "well this is Florida, there are bugs here." While we don't live in Florida now, we're both from there and this was not a typical palmetto bug spotting. The bugs we saw represent an infestation and lack of cleanliness. We asked for a full refund and she said "they would take care of it." It was foolish of us to not get something in writing or get an email confirmation. A week went by and no refund appeared on the credit card. We attempted to call the motel directly, but we couldn't get ahold of anyone. We left a voicemail that was never returned. We originally booked it through Hotels.com so we proceeded to reach out to them. The motel staff played dumb with the Hotels.com representative and denied that we had an issue or brought this up during our stay. Apparently, this has happened before. Blind Pass Motel would not give us a refund. We spent nearly $200 on a room that we spent less than an hour in. Instead, we have an $80 credit with Hotels.com. Needless to say, we'll never stay here nor would we recommend to anyone. The entire experience was handled terribly on their end.

Luckily, I came across a nice deal at the Plaza Beach and got way more than I expected to out of the experience! The room was nice, updated, and well-appointed. The pool was delightful. Even when crowded, it was still fun and the crowd was always lively and diverse. The bar, bartender, and locals that frequent it were all very welcoming and even more chill. And between the hammocks, Adirondack chairs, umbrellas, beach chairs, and complimentary towels, you are truly taken care of from your room, through the pool, past the volleyball nets, to the beach. My only minor note is that the wifi in the room was pretty wonky and I had trouble getting anything to stream on the TV. But when on a beachfront getaway in St. Pete, watching TV is not a top priority. Luckily the weather was mostly good, so I wasn't stuck inside for too long. As a single traveler, I had a blast. So I can't wait to come back up to share it with family and friends!

You're just steps from the beach and an easy walk to great restaurants and bars, so once you park, you barely need your car. This isn't just a place to sleep. It's part of the vacation. 13/10, and the kind of hotel that has me rethinking what I'll be booking from now on.

We were excited to discover that the hotel is just a short walk away from one of our favorite beaches, Upham beach, which made the trip even more special. The property had a fun South Beach feel with plenty of seating to socialize, a cute pool with bright flamingo floats, a hot tub, and a great outdoor pool bar. Natalia was a great bartender, she was friendly and gave the most awesome recommendations off the menu. She did not miss a beat! Randy was a fantastic host. The service in this hotel is very good overall. The pools and the beach are superb. We chose this resort as a special anniversary vacation, and this is part of the lower review. We ultimately felt the hotel discount promotion and phone sales was misleading. Ambiguous communication led us to believe we would receive a free night, however we later realized and were told that the discount was already built in to our price, although no sign of discount was found anywhere on our invoice. I'm self employed and I've managed business for 35 years, and I've not seen discounts that don't show on an invoice. Se beware of promotional discount offers as it may not be what you expect, and you'll be left with no way to disprove the phantom discount because it's not on your invoice, apparently is just spoken. Overall service was very good. We had a minor blip in the maritana, which was the wrong dessert brought to us, and presented as "happy anniversary" with a chocolate that said that, but was strangely charged to us. The waitress handled it like a pro. I would advise the chef to either ignore birthdays and anniversaries and that sort of thing, or offer a small free dessert. But definitely don't bring out a "happy anniversary" dessert then charge for it. Also had overcooked hard poached eggs at the society table - no big deal just no runny yolk. If not for the price, who cares? But with such a great menu and fantastic chef, they should get eggs right. No discount offered. But I ate it so... All of our food was great, and really well developed and complete dishes as if it were Michelin rated. Cheers to the chef. Just two very minor fails. Overall it was a nice stay but we won't go back mainly because ultimately they didn't step up over a $600ish discrepancy over a 5 night stay. Look at my reviews. It's very rare I don't write 5 stars. I'm not one of those people that gives a bunch of bad reviews. The highlight of this resort is the beach, the pools, and the menu. Service is good overall. So definitely some good.

That's about it for the positives. It is a VERY dated hotel so if you like fresh and new, look at the 2014-opened Hotel Zamora a hundred yards down Gulf Blvd, however it is not beachfront, so that's its huge problem. The rooms here you can tell have seen some better years with patches and paint easily spotted on the walls. The appliances in the kitchenette are very old but perfectly functional if you want to enjoy a week on the beach without the expense of going to restaurants for every meal. If you're wanting to catch a football game on TV, better to visit a bar because the rooms still have old school tube televisions. The front desk is not staffed 24x7, so there are restrictions on check in and check out times to keep in mind. My only real complaint about this place is security. The room I stayed in had broken locks on at least two of the windows making it impossible to lock them. The door locks still use traditional keys, so who knows if someone has copied yours in the past. The rooms on the south side of the property (not sure about the north side) have a sidewalk area and second door on that back side exiting from the bedroom; it would be easy for someone to break into the room from that site without it being very obvious. So if you have some true valuables, you probably won't feel comfortable leaving them in the room. I'm not sure if the front desk has some more secure method of storing items for guests.
