The place is in a residential area and it is $20 to get in per person for nonresidents. They opened at 9AM. There are plenty of chairs, so you don't need to bring one and they have lifeguards also. We read to bring a pool noodle, so we did. We also brought water shoes, which were helpful because the shallow part is rocky. When I stepped in, I was surprised to see that the water wasn't hot, it was like a mildly heated pool. My friend said to me that that is probably why it is called warm mineral springs and not hot mineral springs. The water is said to contain lots of minerals and be therapeutic. I spoke to a couple swimming, and they said they come here at least two times per week and it helps their joints. The thing is, the smell is pretty pungent. It didn't bother me so much when we were in the water, but it did my friends. However, it took about 3 showers to fully get the smell out of my skin. I don't know how people who come here regularly deal with it. The facilities look old and are in need of a renovation. Didn't see a shower. There was a short shower to rinse feet off, but that's all I saw.

After researching and talking to several travel agents, Mary Ann Ramsey (I think the owner of Betty McClean travel) was the only one who took time to get to know us, our travel habits, our favorite hotels, etc. Since this was the first time we needed to use an agent, we were slightly nervous. But Betty has been 5 star since the beginning. She gave us great advice about where to stay in the Serengeti, and took time to answer all our questions. Once we decided on staying at Singita Faru Faru, Mary Ann and her team made the whole process a breeze. The arranged all our travel, transfers, visa documents and correspondence with Singita. We even got care packages with maps and books on the animals before we left. A week before our departure, we got another care package with all our documents and travel arrangements printed out, currency conversion, information on all the areas we were traveling to, etc. I know she was in touch with the management at Singita before, during and after our stay, and we also got 30 minutes of complimentary spa massages because she is a Virtuoso agent. Also, when we arrived home we had ANOTHER care package with a beautiful book about the Serengeti. We had an amazing service from start to finish!!! Visiting Africa was an amazing experience, and we are so thankful for Mary Ann Ramsey, Linda Walker, Maggie Ziomek and the rest of her team for making our travels so smooth and wonderful. Incredible value for the price. There's a tiki bar on premises where I see a lot of locals. I had a reservation and tried checking in at 1pm, well before the 4pm check in time. No expectations to get a room immediately. There is typically a $20 fee to check in this early, but the front desk staff waived it because the room was ready. After spending a miserable evening at a campsite, checking in early was pure gold and much appreciated. In regards to the breakfast, it's a budget hotel, not an Embassy Suites. Menu includes; make your own waffle, cereal, yogurt, milk, OJ. The hotel must have over bought room trash cans. They have one outside under every room air conditioner to catch the condensation.
