The only reason I gave it 4 stars and not 5 was because when actually booking the accommodation there was some confusion with whether or not the card we used has actually worked! But once that was sorted and we arrived, the actual experience there was definitely 5 star. We arrived and were greeted by Joylene, one of the owners of the B&B who was just lovely. We stayed at Treetops Downunder which is the downstairs apartment. There is an upstairs place to stay and they did have other guests up there but we did not even see or hear them the whole time. There was a bottle of complementary red wine from their own vineyard and freshly baked biscuits waiting for us on arrival - very nice touch. Being a Bed & Breakfast, they had the fridge fully stocked with local produce - bacon, eggs, mushrooms, tomatoes, yoghurt, strawberries, bread, orange juice and any other things you might need such as coffee, tea, milk and butter. The Downunder apartment was a full kitchen so you could look after yourselves completely. Decor was just gorgeous. There was music playing and candles burning when we arrived and a lovely big king size bed. There was also a 2nd bedroom. There was a TV, cd/ipod sound system, some DVD's as CD's and lots of books around the place. They also had the usual helpful tourist pamphlets and maps of the Barossa. But....my favourite thing....was the 2 person spa bath! So wonderful!! It had jets and was heated. So relaxing. There was an incredible view from their property and we had a little outside area to sit and drink wine or to eat brekkie. Overall it was just fantastic. Everything was thought of and helped to make our getaway super relaxing. Would love to go back! Thank you Malcolm and Joylene.

There are several dining options within walking distance. The bed is super comfortable, the shower is terrific, and high end linens and toiletries are provided. This is a great option for your visit to the Barossa Valley. Expect a visit or 2 from the owners' 3 friendly terriers!

I…read morewouldn't want to live here put it that way, but it is nice for a couple of sleep overs - especially if someone else is paying. I didn't pay and wasn't asked to pay for my sleep overs because I basically went home with someone who was visiting and slept on a couch type thing one night and then got to sleep in the bed the next night as mine host decided there was ample room for us both - very nice bed I will add - slept very well. Not sure the decor would suit me for very long. It has that up market traditional 'authentic' modern produced old fashioned looking air about it, but certainly functional, has Internet and air conditioning, just about all you need for decent inner city living. A little noisy.

The estate is beautiful, the suite was perfect with all of the amenities we needed and even included a few beers and a bread and olive oil platter upon arrival. Could not recommend this B&B enough. Amazing above and beyond!…read more Thank you Casey, Justin and family for an amazing night, would love to have stayed longer and will be back! The story! We had been staying at Mount Lofty for 2 nights and as this was Sooo BAD we left after one night! Phoned Lazerac on the day for two rooms and as it was mid-week they had two free (We know they are always booked up months in advance for w/ends because we have tried before) When we arrived we were offered drinks and "shown" to our rooms not just given a key! The rooms were beautiful large rooms, huge bathroom, lovely furnishings, comfy beds fridge, chair, welcome cheese platter, tea coffee etc. Amazing. Above and beyond - we were asked where we would be having dinner and then they offered to drive to and from the destination so we could all drink (another birthday) and in a beautiful comfy car (not a runaround bus!) Breakfast in the morning was delicious. I would love to keep this a secret! But have to recommend it as one of the best places to stay in the Barossa Valley!
