My management company sent someone from Blessed Hands to do an estimate of the repairs needed. The gentleman did not introduce himself or greet me at the door. He was very rushed and was not wearing a mask while walking though my home. I thought it was all a bit unprofessional. I am quite upset with this company. I scheduled installation of a door lock which I bought on Amazon. I called and emailed them several times to make sure A) they could do the work and B) they had the specific tool (a door mortising jig) which was required for this lock. I had to request twice from the receptionist to speak to the technician to confirm this critical detail. The tech I spoke with said he would look at the lock I ordered (they could see it on Amazon since I booked their services through Amazon) and would have to check if he had the tool, he would get back to me; he didn't the first time. I had to call back. Finally he confirmed he did not have the tool but would have another tech sent who DID have the tool. Great! My appointment was for between 8-11am. 11am comes, nobody showed up or called me. I called them again, the dispatcher said there was a delay, my tech would show up at 1:45pm. He did indeed show up, but he knew nothing about the job and of course did NOT HAVE THE TOOL I specifically told them multiple times was required. The tech declined to do the work because he didn't want to make a mistake. I called and left a message with them that I was upset with their service and wanted to speak with a manager. Of course nobody called me back. SO: I wasted 2 weeks waiting for an appointment that was late, they couldn't be bothered to call me when they were late and then they couldn't do the work to begin with. So I wasted a day waiting for them and still didn't get my lock installed, and they couldn't be bothered to even call me back to apologize for their poor performance. This is the most Mickey-Mouse operation I have dealt with in home services. Use at your own peril.I would give them negative stars if Yelp would allow it. read more

He started the last job, then disappeared for a long time, left a lot of trash in my house TWICE. i had to clean up after him, trash left on floor including KFC and a pizza box. Had to vacuum twice. Asked for cash, then billed my credit card anyway. Not trustworthy and Christian like considering the name Blessed Hands. The name should be changed to dirty hands considering all the dirt he left behind. Don't be fooled by the initial job, it only got worse for me. After he got paid, he moved on to the next job, ignored my texts and phone calls, even tho he didn't finish repairing the cracks on the landing. First impressions aren't always accurate. Richard is honest with quotes, and gives his professional opinion in a way that benefits the customer. He also completes the project with a great attitude! We already had Blessed Hands come back twice already for larger projects. Most recently, to install plexiglass at our stairway railings, to prevent our son from climbing. It looks amazing! If you are looking for prompt, courteous, and professional, give them a call! We are having him back for some other jobs around the house soon! read more

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I placed an order through AMAZON for curtain rods to be installed and this was the company the job was allocated to. I called in the morning when they opened and asked that the installer call my cell phone number when he was at my gate as my intercom system was out. The woman I was speaking with found my order and told me that she was making a note on it. She also informed me that he would also call when he was on his way. My scheduled time was 2-5pm and I DID NOT RECEIVE A SINGLE PHONE CALL, nor was there any message in my voicemail..I called the company at 4:30pm and even though their office hours are until 5pm, their phone hours are until 4pm. I wonder why. A company that doesn't even have the courtesy to call if an installer is running late DOESN'T VALUE THEIR CLIENTS. BUYER BEWARE!!! read more

This company was sent over to us by the property manager, and they are by far the best handy man services I have ever experienced in my life. They came out a couple of times and each time they arrived within their window, worked fast, super kind, cleaned up after their self and of course the job was properly taken care of. Hired this company to paint a 900 sq ft condo and remove popcorn ceiling. Its going on 3 weeks and Richard is still not finished and the quality of work is not professional. If you do not have the manpower to take on jobs, do not accept them. Customers should not have to sacrifice quality and their deadlines because you don't have sufficient manpower to complete jobs properly and trying to do a 4 team job by yourself with 1 unskilled worker. Also, having to clean up repeatedly due to rash being everywhere is just unacceptable. I would not recommend this company. I advise that this company go back to the basics, work on their trade and no longer accept jobs that they cannot perform professional. We have canceled the job an now looking for another company to take over. Cannot express the level of inconvenience this has caused. read more

I arranged for a "deep clean" from this company through Amazon. The two technicians did an excellent job on the bathroom (it was spotless) but I was really disappointed with how they handled the floors in the kitchen--especially given that it was supposed to be a six hour service. I wrote a review on Amazon stating as much and within a day someone from Blessed Hands called me, apologized, and scheduled a time for another technician to come and redo the floors. The woman who came the second time was GREAT--the floors were perfect. Amazon didn't let me edit my initial review so wanted to give Blessed Hands props somewhere! read more

I purchased an AC on Amazon, and was assigned Blessed Hands when I chose to include installation. They double checked the day before to be sure I had also purchased the mounting bracket. (I had...or so I thought! When I looked, I found that somehow I had not included it in my order! So I paid $6 shipping and got it same day. Thank goodness they checked!!!) They confirmed the appointment, and the gentleman showed up a bit early. Better than late, but I hadn't had time to vacuum the rug so he wasn't working in dust and dog hair. But it was ok. A lovely Irish gentleman named Raymond. He was personable, did a good job, and it was fast and clean. They also do plumbing and shower door installs, etc. In fact, he is a plumber by trade. I have never written a Yelp review, however, Blessed Hands Handyman is worth recommending. If I could give them 100 stars, I would! Richard came over on short notice to my client's 5-unit apartment building where we had a pressing housing authority inspection and they were due to come back within a short period of time. He gave me a price, Time-line, and list of materials required to get job done. Mind you, that entire month I was continually very disappointed by other handyman services that did even not show up when we had made appointments or were not courteous enough to answer the phone despite agreeing to price and date to fix miscellaneous items. This had cost me a lot of time and I was in a serious rush to make sure that all items on the inspection report were complete before the next inspection. Richard saved the day! He was prompt, friendly, professional, wonderfully priced and got the job done! Many items were tough to do, and he went out of his way to ensure they were well done and on time for the inspection. If not for Richard, my client would have not passed! I highly recommend Blessed Hands. They are more than deserving of this review and true professionals. read more
